1 minutes equals 10 rounds. A round is when you buy drinks for the team at a bar. If a shot costs 1 silver then a minute is worth roughly 10 silver but if you have a full bottle worth many rounds then you have a time share.

@@DuMpst3Rmike Viari died. He kept using a weapon called the “Apocalypse Dagger” even *after* it blew his arm clean off one time, and it finally killed him.
That’s not to say Viari won’t come back, many on the cast have died before, but that was the last time we saw Viari.

I need to whittle myself a Modron Lathander so I can bronze it. Such a delightful NPC.
To those thinking that's it's not the same as it used to be, let me suggest that it started with the change of DM from Chris to Jeremy, and the focus shifted from the adventure to the story. And, while there was always a bigger universe, each live show was mostly a one-shot, but it's now been the same storyline since the bank vault in the potion shop, with a DM more interested in role-playing a certain gnome artificer than having an entertaining game to watch.
Please - Bring together on any coast, Perkins, Kurtz, Mike, Pat, and Jerry to play - roll in Morgan and Al (Will)... Just one more please :)
At first, I was hesitant when I saw Kris was going to be the DM. Thinking this was going to be a bad Acquisition Inc. game. But I was wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed his DMing. He is a really good DM.

It takes about an hour to get to the point where Omin gets an idea of what he wants to do, but it's worth it, because Jerry knows his character.
Really missed the real recap on this one. Not only because it's always amazing, but also because I had totally forgotten most of the last episode.

Her name is Anna Prosser. Her character and Strix (played by Holly Conrad) were originally from another campaign called Dice, Camera, Action! it's definitely worth watching
@@alexanderwilkins222 I agree with raf that Anna playing Evelyn so well is a delight in Acq Inc. However people going over to watch DCA should know that the tone is quite different on DCA. Basically they _wallow_ in self-pity and self-sacrifice. Wanted to watch one of the later series (based loosely on Dragon Heist I think (quite loosely I presume as they are much higher level than that module)), and I couldn't take more than an episode and a half. In that time they managed to bring Evelyn back from the dead (again), whereupon she had about ten minutes of touching moments with the other PCs ... and then immediately wanted to sacrifice herself to help people who hate her and her crew. And while you could argue (and she did, endlessly) that those people had a need (which she wouldn't have been able to do anything about if they just immediately threw her in prison anyway), there are plenty of people in need everywhere.
Massive derailment ensues, almost as if she had been trying to kill her character off so she could bow out gracefully from the hellish pissing contest to see who could be the most emo that is DCA.
IIRC someone actually calls her lawful-stupid.
It got so painful to watch that the only way to win was to not watch it.

FWIW C-team has similar but different issues. Basically at the end of each season it is revealed that it was all a dream. And then with later episodes the emphasis is on the surreal with a hint of horror, so it's not just a dream, it's a fever dream.
@@rickcarson591 In regards to the C-team, I think Jerry's vagueness and reliance on metaphors makes things have a dream like quality, but usually they're just having real, bizarre experiences.
Acq Inc has gone from "I'm excited! This is fun!" to "I'm interested. When's it done?"
Slow degradation of the cast, the originals built it to the audience it pulled. And Kris is not a bad dm but is not as good as his predecessors

Great world building and amazing storytelling.
Risking being a little hated here, I am over the Evelyn and Strix dynamic.
I don't think it adds much to the experience and was at times detrimental to how well I was enjoying the fabulous DMing on Kris' part.
I wanted to see more of the father and daughter antics, but the other three didn't seem like sharing the spotlight as much.
Strix used to be the most enjoyable character out of the waffle crew, but is sort of a fish out of water in the Acq Inc setting. Replacement players getting shoe-horned into the group has sort of killed the overall feel of Acq Inc. RIP Binwin and Jim.

Agreed. What I enjoyed about Acq Inc is that it felt like it was being played by an authentic set of friends who weren't atypical nerds and had a razor sharp wit. This now feels like every Dnd livestream, similar humour and people playing for themselves. I've lost count of the number of times one of the PC's just shit on whatever narrative someone is exploring to just up end and hit something just to be contrary.

It's a little surreal seeing the lower-budget PAX this time around. I've gotten so used to the makeup, costumes, stage lighting, and large audience - by contrast this one almost seems homely. In some ways it is a shame, but I'm really glad they've been able to keep doing these wonderful shows.

It is always nice to see Kris run a game. This was such a cool idea. He is such a creative dungeon master. He has a talent for crafting disturbing scenarios with bone-chilling consequences. So fun. I would love to see him run his own campaign, whether it's DnD, Call of Cthulhu, or any other game. I'd like to see what mind-bending arcs he would develop for players on a similar wavelength to him.

I think maybe she was referring to DCA where Chris Perkins was their regular DM. They started in Ravenloft, did about 50 (ish?) episodes in there, and arguably never fully escaped. There are, in fact, worse things than death when Chris Perkins is your DM.
