    Please everyone.
    Stay home and cook for yourselves. These restaurants do not deserve our business if they are continually nickel and diming us.

      @@middleguy1776fr? they make their profit selling food and drinks, it is just being greedy and taking advantage of the current situation of our economy. If your theory made any sense why wouldn't they have been done many years ago. Restaurants haven't been making profits? Come on man, Think before u post something dumb. I know Iaa! But I'm right too..

      I know some waters or weitres are making three to four hundred a night of tips and plus their hourly pay, absolutely unfair to the customers.

      @middleguy1776 you don't get the message here. The message is you can include those in one price without overpricing a manu. Selling a lot is key here. To do that, they have to lower the food price. Selling expensive meals one at a time is the best way to lose business.

  • @hector6005
    @hector6005 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    It's not a price increase if they put it into the price! In the end you spend the same amount of money.

  • @hector6005
    @hector6005 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    So let me get this straight: if you buy a $20 dish and tip 20% and pay a 6% service fee or you buy a $26.40 dish because of a price increase, it's still $26.40. For the customer, where is the price increase? The owners said prices would increase 5-15% they clearly haven't done math because that would actually make it cheaper. The service charge is added on at the end; now it would just be included into the price so a 26% price increase would yield a $26.40 dish at $20 base price before just without all the added on lines on the receipt.

    Then people will complain about bad service bc there's not enough employees....bc its not like the employees can afford to live in these neighborhoods with those high rents. so then the staff has to pay high cost of commuting and parking. The servers get jobs in other industries where they get health care, and then customers wonder "hey why are the restaurants closing in this area".... you can never make some people happy 🤷🏾‍♀️

    This is predominately the reason I always have second thoughts before dining in SF. 20% auto tip is on top of the SF mandate. That is at least 25% surcharge.

    If you have a restaurant, it’s your job to pay employees and go thru losses and profits. That’s why it’s YOUR business.
    It’s not the customer fault egg prices are high.
    And Tipping should be an option.
    When tip is included, the servers don’t care because they know it’s already on there.

    With all the extra fees, they are avoiding paying taxes. Just say food is $50 then add fee1 $10 and fee2 $5. Total $65. They are only paying income taxes on $50. Then when they charge you one price $65 with no fees, they have to pay income taxes on $65. Customers pay $65 regardless. Fees are bs. Especially 3% fee is you use credit card.

And then don’t complain about all the places closing because you don’t patron them. There’ll be nothing left in SF to do because none of y’all wanna pay for it, tip or support these businesses. 😢
