The Coolest Bass Guitar in the World...? Installing the Bridge.

Okay - maybe it is not the coolest electric bass guitar ever... let me know what you think? Gold never goes out of style, apparently. This video series will document trying to put this bass together, for a friend, with the parts that he has left me to work with. This is screaming out for a maple neck, it'd look way more at home with all that Bling! 😂
The overlapping bridge, part of the character. You could add a blinged up wedge of neatly cut wood underneath in time if the owner so desired.

You are always schooling me , the scale length makes way better sense to me now. Between you and DWOFS I'm learning all the in's and out's of guitar stuff. Even if it is a chrome bridge on a gold bass. You know that's just a fun jab. Love watching your channel.
I think the only thing I don't like about the bass is the guy chopped off the tail end.

Kudos to the owner who seemed to have planned for cutout and bridge to be hanging offset into space. Probably the only cool thing (design wise) I like so far. That would look wicked on an SG design.

The screws are a little too close to the edge for my liking but it seems to be holding solid enough

I know you're being facetious with the title "The Coolest Bass Guitar in the World" and I don't want to sound mean, but, in my opinion that may be the ugliest bass I have ever seen. With the possible exception of the Music Man Bongo bass. In any case I'm sure you will be able to make it play and sound great.

@@ManotickGuitarTechThere could be two reasons that the designer of the Bongo bass designed it that way. 1. He was on drugs. 2. He had been kicked in the head by a horse. ;)
