It turned out looking great! I know there are hoards of folks wishing Tamiya would get off their duff and re-release this one! I would love to have a new one I could go out and run and not have to worry about snapping very hard to find plastics! I am looking forward to the run video! Loved the sneak peek!
I still need to pull the transmission back apart in my falcon and figure out what happened on our Memorial Day buggy shootout. But I honestly don’t ever plan on running it anymore, she’s just a shelf queen
Delightful!!!
Great job fella.... Loving the teaser over the ramp at the end of the video, it's alive and kicking!
👍 👍 👍
Thanks my friend. Not a huge secret there...lol. Time attack will be out before years end! Appreciate the support.
Excellent work, looks like brand new again! Looking forward to the running video!👍🤘
It turned out way better than I expected. Under all that dirt were some pretty fresh parts! Appreciate it brother.
@@VINTAGEBACKYARDRC it honestly looks superb and I love these restoration videos! Can’t wait to see what you restore next?!👍🤘

Spares would be absolutely amazing my friend. I do have a few bits...but if I toss a gear case....its game over...lol. Appreciate the support brother.
This Falcon came out beautifully, congratulations and enjoy it Brother 👍👌💪
Thanks so much! Really happy with the result. Appreciate it.
Look like you got the Falcon flying well! :-)
She's a bird for sure!
Looks great on that jump at the end 👍
Jumps well! Appreciate it so much.
Great video mate!! Awesome job 👍
Thanks so much! Was pretty happy with how it turned out. Appreciate it.
Very nice job! Agreed, these little things are made to run. Take it easy, but enjoy! :)
Thanks so much. I just can't do the shelf queen thing...lol.
Nice 👌 looking forward to next vid with some track action 😁
Thanks my friend. We will have it up by years end for sure!
My first true Rc race win was with a falcon stock motor with 1300 mah nicd.. Nice restoration!
Nice! It's a fun iconic buggy for sure. Appreciate it.
The blitzer beetle has the same issue splitting the front holes. Looking good so far.
Thanks so much. Don't want to put out too much info about the future track video....but the upper brace seemed to help.
Turned out fantastic, well done 🤩
Thanks brother. Appreciate it!
Looks fantastic! Man I wish Tamiya would rerelease it soon!😁
I could use a few bits for spars for sure...lol. Thanks so much!
Great work bud! That came out fantastic and I can’t wait to see it out on the track. I was wincing watching it over that jump at the end though 😂
Haha thanks my friend...Wait till you see it running! Lots of pucker moments...hehe.
Turned out great
Thanks brother. Really happy with how it turned out.
Great video. Hope you don’t keep us waiting too long to see it run on your track (your teaser at the end was mean 😂)
Haha...have a few ahead of it unfortunately. Will be before years end for sure.
Looks excellent!!!! Lol I guess you did jump it!
Full send brother!
@@VINTAGEBACKYARDRC oh yeah , I saw it! I know more than most exactly what a nose drive is going to cost.

They are pretty fragile for sure. Without spares...I would not have run it
@@VINTAGEBACKYARDRC I put the original gears back in, but should’ve put tge new ones in I had 🤷♂️
Nicccce!
I think part of the character of this cars history is just how fragile it is. If you DON'T break it, did you really ever "own" a falcon?
Hahaha...very true!
@@VINTAGEBACKYARDRC just picked up a falcon off e-bay finally. Your rebuild here was the final straw, had to have it lol
@gogotrololo That's AWESOME! Enjoy the build brother.
