4 is an awesome collection.. At some point, you stop owning your collection and your collection starts owning you! Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment 👍
You have quiet a collection both built and unbuilt! Lots and lots of work getting them all back inside and cleaned up for being on display! I have to go through all mine and do a good wipe down of everything, I am both looking forward to it and not looking forward to it at the same time!! Thanks for the walk through and it was a perfect time to do it!
Thank you for your kind comments 😁😁😁 I have been collecting now for over 35 years 😳 Hard to believe how much time has passed.. I really do need to give them all a big clean! Thanks again for watching and leaving a comment 👍
Great collection man, thanks for the tour! Seeing the likes of you, and Keith over at rc icons makes me feel a lot better about my own modest collection! 🤣 Something kinda special about Tamiya box art that dates all the way back to the early eighties don't ya think?! It always makes me feel like I'm just ten years old again! 🤣 One thing I don't envy you on though is the amount of dusting you have to do there.... as we all know shelf queens are dust magnets! 🤣 👍 👍 👍
Hahaha.. They sure are! I am CONSTANTLY dusting! My Dad and i used to work on Tamiya cars together and run them at the park when i was a Kid.. He passed away over 20 years ago, so when i really miss him, i pull out a NIB and start building. It really feels like he is next to me, assisting and guiding me as i go... He always did the dampers, i hated those 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment 👍
@@tamiya_australia Very sorry to hear of your father's passing, sounds as though you have some awesome memories of the Tamiya time you both spent together though. What a fitting way to remember him, I'm sure he is still there with you spiritually guiding you through the damper construction! 😉 👍 👍 👍
From Perth W.A? Me too! That's a sub and a like right there. Nice collection. You know, I can play guitar, Uke, Mandolin, but I could never get my head around the Banjo.
Epic 🤩 thanks for sharing. I'm a little frustrated as I haven't seen a proper Hotshot II (It was my 1st and only 1/10 Tamiya car back in the 80's); maybe it's hiding somewhere 😊
impressive collection for sure - but i do have to ask why? the maintenance bill and time for upkeep would be significant. i struggle to justify and maintain 10 RCs down from 15 from all categories
That's a good question.. I have been collecting since i was 8 or 9 and just really never stopped.. My Dad and I used to build them together. He passed away a long time ago, so everytime I build or repair a car, it kind of feels like he is there with me...
If you set the cars on their chassis, the tires won't deform and crack while the age, and the suspension arms won't say. Simple small cardboard boxes would do the trick, or, cardboard tubes, or blocks of wood, etc.
Oh wow, that's a long story... I started as a mechanic in 1995, then i moved into parts.. i started selling new Toyota's in 2000, then i moved into selling used cars after a few years, then i moved into sales management and then i had the opportunity to become a General Manager of a dealership that i ultimately ended up buying a share of.. Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment 👍
Word of advice, nobody wants to see your tarps and blankets or office. Show the collection 🤦♂️ I'm writing this after 1min into your video. It looks like you have alot of awesome cars.

Awesome collection.
Cheers Champion 👍😁👍
Crazy collection. I only have 4 cars but like you I have my original Big Wig from '89. Finding parts for it is so hard.

Your the same as me even if you use it keep the box it adds to the resale price
It's the only way to collect in my opinion 😁
Yep, only good keeping it on the shelf....virtually cannot get spare parts...Had a TT02 and order a front axle hub 9 month ago and still nothing
Is the RC10 a reissue or original? I should got the reissue when they came out.
I bought it so many years ago, but, i think it's a Rere... Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment 👍
not a bad strat
Cheers 😁😁😁

It's a RM01 Toyota Tom's 84c.. 1/12th scale 👍👍

Having a Bachelor of Science in psychology, I would say he is a "High functioning developmentally disabled" man.
👍
Yuck!
Why would you do such a thing?
Subconscious minds prefer matching sets.
You've damaged your subconscious mind.
