The bootleg has multiple releases under different names, they are: 'Italian Horror', 'Real Spit One', 'Turin 27.4.1993'. According to the website, Bruce is giving "his lousiest performance" because of the incident and he is pissed the entire show. Parts of various songs are played only instrumental.
It was a must and Steve behaved professionally. Much like once Ray Manzarek did in the Doors, having to sing an entire show in, I think, England, (in addition to his normal keyboards AND keyboard bass playing) when Jim Morrison was too high on drugs to even show up onstage (in fact, he had to be medically rescued on that night).
Talk about commitment - whatever happened later it's clear Steve would go the extra mile if another bandmember got themselves in a state to the point they couldn't perform - as long as no-one made a habit of it. For better or worse, Paul (and later Clive) did...
@Bananenbennie He might have actually been sick at this show, but he has a reputation of being "difficult" at times, lol! As the band became more successful & "professional," he may have passive-aggressively rebelled against Steve at times in different ways, like this. . .He is onstage & sings lead on most songs from this gig, back-up on others.
