For this special moment, I travel to Quebec Canada where a small euro shop brings the Jetta from the first Fast and the Furious back to life.Chad Lindberg, the actor who played Jesse has a grand plan of bringing Jesse Back to life to bring joy to charities and hospitals. I know the Supra was reused in 2fast 2furious. Leon's gtr got impounded. Jay Leno bought the Eclipse and added a bunch of gauges to it. Greg Lieberman the guy that was in charge of the cars has a TH-cam channel where he explains in more detail what happened to the cars.

I thought that S2000 looks like a Miata, I don't get it why they don't accept miatas in the movie, not even as a cameo tho. I mean today, they're still relatively cheap but with high potential to be a drag sleeper if tuned right.

This is a truly iconic moment! So much nostalgia! The younger generations might not feel it, but i grew up watching the first Fast & Furious movie over & over again, and this is a genuinely amazing moment! Cherish it guys! AWESOME STUFF! 🙌

Jessie will forever be my favorite because he is the original mechanical genius it's extremely awesome to see him again after all these years F&F wouldn't be the same with out him & his prayer to the car gods was the best of all time and his VWJetta was the very 1st German car to become a tuner She's beautiful and seeing how much she truly means to him after all these years truly warms my heart I'm so happy he has her in his garage now right where she always belonged to be seeing her driven by any one else would never be right that's Jessie's car and she belongs with him and no one else

as a lover of all things VW, and as a fan of the shows, this is just excellent. the jetta was always my favorite hero car just because i always drove vws. my wife daily drives a vr6 mk3 jetta, and my mk3 vr6 golf has the same headlights. love this car, and so stoked that Chad liked it.

Vr6 valves always tick a little bit and especially the injectors.Im pretty sure since they just changed fluids and was pushing it it was a very cold start.So not unusual to hear ticking noises from them even warm and especially cold

I remember the reason I got into this scene was a 91 hatchback race an Integra that had more stickers than I could count right in front of the high school. It was the coolest shit ever. This was back in 1996 before most trust fund babies with Supras decided to be assholes to the rest of us that really gave imports the street credit they deserved. A 500 hp+ smoking a mustang is not impressive. A 3rd gen lude with a custom turbo setup and passing 250 smoking a mustang, that's what imports was all about in the beginning.
