Update: I DID make this last night but with rice & steamed broccoli. 3 large chicken breasts fed 5 people (4 of them VERY hearty eaters) WITH left overs. It was an amazing HIT. I did the easy peasy 8 hours on low. Total prep time, maybe 15 minutes.

As I was watching this I thought 'this would be good with rice' glad you hear it turned out I am going to try it that way as well.

Love your slow cooker receipts! Spraying the slow cooker first has totally changed my game with it! Love u Catherine!
Using the crockpot liners are AMAZING !! No cleanup..just remove the liner & throw in trash can. Even the liquid leftover. Clean pot ..no washing!! I use them every time & love them ❤!

Oh this is perfect, I have a giant ginger root I am scratching my head about how I’m going to use. And though I live in Italy with a thoroughly Abbruzzese husband that wants to eat pasta twice a day I’m thinking I’m going to do this with rice instead like a lot of other people in the comments just to give him some variety.
