So far a pretty good first impression and review. Very easy to pull an equivalent of 1 1/2 wheel barrow full or dirt. How much does a wheelbarrow filled with dirt weigh? A medium-sized wheelbarrow that holds 3 cubic feet of dirt can weigh around 230 lbs (100 kg). However, the weight of a wheelbarrow of dirt depends on the size of the wheelbarrow and how it's filled.
This unit is actually pretty huge. We have our own reasons why we bought this particular size. We actually prefer to buy the 12 cubic feet one, but it would be too large to fit through our backyard gate. The primary reason for this 7 cu ft as opposed to the smaller 4 cubic feet is the weight capacity which is 1200 pounds. And it is towable using our garden tractor Cub Cadet Yard Machine riding lawnmower.
