Thanks for the info! I am not a podcaster but want to do podcast editing for others. I am trying to learn all that I can so I can get started offering my service. I would love to see a video on editing podcasts, cutting clips, adding silence and so on.
can you show us your sound/audio settings for sound card to computer. i can record sound effect from sound card to audacity but the sound is not that clear.
Hi Krystal, Thanks for sharing Audacity software with us. I would like to have a short music interlude with the name of my podcast moving around in the beginning. Then... a fade from the beginning introduction ... a small effect, to bring me into my show. Then, at the end of my podcast, I would do a simple fade in musical interlude ... then, fade out. Can you help me with something like this, please? Thanks so much.
Hello! I have a specific question. When i record my first podcast there was noises in the background and i tried to remove it with effect - noise reduction. The first setting for dB to not hear it i tap 17, but the volume is quiet, it mutes my volume quite a bit and I don't know how to remove the noise without reducing my volume so much.
If you click the drop-down menu titled "Audio Track," above mute/solo on the track, you can easily convert a stereo recording to mono. Just select "Split Stereo to Mono." Whenever I record with another person using two mics through the single audio interface, each of our mic inputs comes in as a separate side of the stereo track. Then, before I start editing the podcast I split the entire stereo track to mono and I can edit each audio independently.
Krystal, I record my podcast via voice recorder in my android phone. And also edit my podcast in the voice recorder itself. As a solo podcaster, it lift a lot of my work. But, still I feel something is missing. How can make my episode more effective. Why don't you explain it with video ?

I recommend checking out Buzzsprout’s channel for more in-depth audio tutorials! They have the best, IMO! 😉
