I tried to be as specific and direct as possible - should possibly have shown some of the stances they have when they are idle, holding weapons etc. as they are slightly different than the other Gangs, but I didn't feel it was a 'thing' to spend time on... You can see them on Monday if you want :)

So the DLC looks to me like a slight stat and cosmetic upgrade to a basic gang template if they aren't going to including any new unique weapons. Other than the trap that is. The other gangs don't have unique weapons so I'm not sure why i was expecting Van Saar to.

Yeah, I agree that Van Saar and Orlock seem backwards a bit. Van Saar's beginner stats should prioritize Ranged Aptitude, Accuracy, then Alertness (in that order). While the Orlocks beginner stats should be Alertness, Willpower, then Ranged Aptitude in my opinion. Goliath and Escher I don't really have much of a comment for their starter stats, they feel about right. I'm already wondering what gang they'll add next (if they add another). Delaque? Cawdor? Who knows. I've had the Palanite Enforcers on my wishlist for this game since launch, but I'm honestly not sure Rogue will go that far (Corpse Grinders included).
Cawdor is my guess - the latest patch notes indicates them or Corpse Grinders. Either would be cool, but in the end I think their ressources would be better spent working on the AI as well as gang specific weapons (at least one for each) with the next update.. Balance can come later, but they need to look at turrets too...
@@GamekNightPlays Oh yeah. Rogue has quite a bit of work ahead of them on polishing the game. They've done decently enough so far kinking out the bugs and what-not, but there's still a ways to go. I definitely agree the bots still need a bit of work. They aren't really much of a threat unless you just play recklessly (and even then sometimes the bots don't capitalize on even the worst mistakes). I would never complain to see more weapons, more armor, or more gangs. I do like your idea of gang specific weaponry. It's a bit confusing to me whether the Acid Thrower is the dreaded Escher Chem Thrower or not. If it is, cool it's in the game, but everyone can use it? But if it's not and the Chem Thrower is much stronger in general, then I'd love to see it added. Regardless of specifics, I do like how they added the Meltagun recently. Hadn't seen it before, so I'm not sure how long it's been in the game (may have been since launch). It was a pleasant surprise to find though. I'd like to see more traditional kinds of firearms though. Sniper rifles for Deadeyes and Shotguns for Saboteurs and the like. They've honestly done pretty well with the current variety of weapons so far. I just don't think there's such a thing as too many weapons to choose from.

I bought the game relatively early and I really want to like it ... but it is just meh at best. :( Considering the lack of gang-specific weapons, only three gangs at release, their DLC policy and given that I am still grumpy about Mordheim, I think I'll pass on anything from that developer from now on.

I feel like I'm going crazy. I can't find any information on how much this will cost, if it will even cost anything. It's such a bizarre thing to want to support this game but being frustrated when you try and find out the most fundamental of details

Man the AI is dog shit. If it even spent 2-3 turns attacking THEN go for the boxes. Instead of running to pick up crap ... then NEVER evacuating and just punching each other. Mordheim had its issues but at least they fucking attacked you!

Yeah, basically - I tried 5 lay mechanics, and just flodded the map with turrets, killed all but one enemy... It is kinda broken as they ignore the turrets -(they will move around if possible though)

It's insulting that they would charge for this content. It's just another basic gang with little to no unique game play mechanics. With how broken the game has been especially.
Agreed, almost zero difference playing as goliath or escher. Just a few negligible bonuses here and there that will only get somewhere when maxed out. Failed to make gangs unique, hope someone one day manage that.
Kinda wish we could get a real Necromunda game rather then this trash. Really sucks but maybe in the future a solid company can make a good Necromunda game.

I don’t know why they require you to play the campaign for the mask and why everyone doesn’t have access to it.
Some weird idea that people will find it great to be rewarded with cosmetics for playing the story I guess.... Guess what, noone liked that.
