I also teared up when hearing the first beats of this tune. You're not alone. I really like Level 42. Born in '69 so the 80's was and still is my playground at music choice. Still remember going to a small club and they played "Something about you" every weekend. Hearing that tune and bassline and feel it in your stomach was awesome. You're a way bigger fan than me though. Early 90's I was at a concert in The Netherlands....very good. My favourite album is "Level 42" from 1981. The classics "Love Games" and "Starchild" but also a great instrumental "43". I understand why you love their music so much. Forget about this reaction.
Thanks so much for your comments. To be at a small club where Level 42 was playing back then much have been such an experience. And to see them again in the Netherlands! I see you're more of a fan of their earliest work, which is quite different from their later stuff, which some early devotees consider too commercial. To me, it's all good! Thanks again for taking to time to share. Much appreciated.
You should check out Rob Squads reaction to Shout to the Top - The Style Council, it's hilarious! They literally expose themselves as fake reactors by forgetting to edit a part of the video out. 🤣

Gah, I'm so pissed they didn't pick the excellent version of this song on the Guaranteed Live gig in 1992. Mark's voice was so gorgeous then!
Going to see them again in November in London uk my 10th time at least
anyway... Have you heard Lindup's new album yet? The more I listen to it, the more I think it's something like a masterpiece.
Yep, it's growing on me more and more.

I've GOT to take a look at that! Thanks
Mr. D...worried about you here and nothing yet on the new channel - just asking like a pesky friend!
