Heroic woman saving an 11-year old girl from being abducted caught on CCTV

- The woman is seen confronting a man who had just pounced on the youngster as she came out of a newsagent in south-east London and was trying to convince her to leave with him. Security camera footage obtained exclusively by MailOnline shows the woman walking past the pair only moments earlier with a black shopping bag over her shoulder - before returning to tell the would-be abductor to go away. The Metropolitan Police has issued images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Was with a lady friend a few years ago in the evening walking along Brighton prominade in UK with her. In the busy crowds she noticed 3 men talking to a drunken lady.
She intervened and we found out she was trying to make her way back to her her hotel which she had forgotton wher it was.
It was due to my friend that she was saved from being very likely raped. As a guy I didn't realise what was going on until intervening...
We got in a taxi and made sure she arrived safely back at the hotel.
These things happen in an instance and am more aware now to look out to help vulnerable folk who may so easily become victims.

I was in a situation once where I found a young lady walking around the hotel one late night where I was working. She had definitely had a few too many and I helped her down to the entrance in the hope I could help her find a friend by using her phone to call someone.
It was a busy night and she was noticed from the street by at least 1 guy because she could hardly stand up, and he came into the lobby and tried to convince her to go with him.
I told the guy, in no uncertain terms, to get lost, and was eventually able to speak to a friend of hers on her phone and get them to come and collect her whilst I waited.

In the article the shopkeeper gives a detailed account. He was Indian aswell and the would be kidnapper had been inside asking him about SIM cards in Hindi while eyeing the girl also in the shop.
The shopkeeper said the girl was a regular who lived nearby.
So I wonder if the shopkeeper would have acted if the green dress lady didn't.
I would have taken the girl into the shop. She left an opportunity for him to lead the girl away.

LBC has a much more in depth article that's around a 3 minute read, with clear photos of both men. Police have confirmed this story to be true unfortunately.
Once in a mall saw three young guys together with a young girl that looked drunk or on drugs. She was the only girl. One guy was at the phone and he talked about arrangements for a room to be prepared. The other two looked like they wanted to take her with them. They were touching her in a way that it looked like they wanted her to go with them and they were insistent but not aggressive. They were telling her she was fine, when she clearly was not. She looked very gone. She could not even stand straight. I immediately went to the security guy at the mall and explained to him that it looked like those guys wanted to take the drunk or drugged girl to rape her somewhere. This is what the whole situation looked like. I am glad there are people like this woman that notice strange things and that helped this girl. In the sad case of James Bulger, many adults noticed something was off and strange by the way his murderers interacted with him, but nobody did anything. If they would have intervened, the boy would probably still be alive today. This woman probably saved this girl from getting raped or worse.
