Bruh I used to think back on how jacob imprinted on a child and how it was almost defended because he was meant to be a “protector” and imprinting is not inherently sexual but if you think about it he still has to hang around this baby he’s constantly around her he will be there while she grows up and while she continues through puberty in his mind she’s his and only his and he lives to be with her so she has no choice but to love Jacob so it’s grooming it’s literally just everyone allowing him to hover over that baby and basically train her to love him
Jacob wasn't even the only one. Like two of the other wolves imprinted on children. In the books they mentioned it before Reneesme was born and it was explained away as "imprinting means you'll be whatever she wants. Friend, brother, lover, etc." So when Jake imprinted it was supposed to be "oh, well he doesn't HAVE to be a love interest. He's whatever she needs."

I was there, girl. I. WAS. THERE. When Carlisle's CGI head appeared on the big screen, it was absolute CHAOS. There was screaming, wailing, crying, shouting. It was wild. And thinking back on it, I love it and I'm so glad that I was able to have the full experience. 😂

@@kachiin They dressed them incredibly inaccurate. In Brazil, Natives tend to be more colorful and have more accesories and handmade clothing, and they very rarely use leather as clothing. The thing is that they just look like north american natives, so basically they just put them in a melting pot and said "good enough". Clearly they put no research into it, and they didn't bother specifying wich type of natives they were, wich is also pretty awlful, they just say "Brazilian natives from the amazon".

Sadly that's all I know about him as he died way before I was born, plus my relationship with my bio-dad is... not great. Stephanie Meyer really went out of here way to make Jacob and Renesmee a thing, right down to making the oddest logic to being a half vampire. When I first read the book I thought it would just mean she aged slower, but of course she had to speed the process in an attempt to make Jacob less creepy and...it didn't really work. Also I love that their entire resolution was left in the hands of literally one other half vampire showing up and saying he's fine. Like first off, that really doesn't mean much when there's still so much not know about them. Second, how do we know he's not lying? Like he just said what he's like and they just took his word for it.

I was at a midnight screening of this movie, and when they took Carlisle’s head it was pandemonium. Screaming. Multiple people, from different sections of the theater, shouted in unison, “that didn’t happen in the book!” It was great.

I'm just sad that he didn't put up much of a fight, at all. He's supposed to be the oldest Cullen and he even spent time with the Volturi ages ago. He should have been much stronger and much more skilled in battle. They just did him dirty by killing him off first.

Bella was a shield, that was a big part of the whole “battle” and why she was able to show Edward her memories. Also they explained that they made the baby cg because they wanted to actually have the baby look like Kristen, rob and the actual girl who played renesme. It ended up being a hot mess of course but that’s what they said lol

As someone who hated Bella and Edward and loved basically all the other characters I was glad that fight scene was fake. If Carlisle and all those others died but irritating ass Bella, Edward and their creepy ass baby survived I would never watch those movies again 😂

The franchise is still a dumb story but it wasn't half the movie.

I forgot seth dies in the official version. I've read so many fanfics over the years where that's not the case. I hate read the books over the space of a week when I was sick. And goddamn... just no. But some of the characters had decent potential so, I gave fanfic a shot. But I literally threw the damned books across the room. Technically Jacob was attracted to the embryo inside Bella. Girls are born will the embryos and donot produce more in the lifetime, biologically speaking. Men on the other hand produce their sperm in their testicles. That is why women can't have babies after a certain age while men can have them for as long as they live.
I like imagining Jacob being super attracted to Edward around the time of Bella and Edward's wedding and thinking 'Damn! I wouldn't mind a peice of that either' because half of Renessme was in Edward's nuts and Jacob being extremely confused afterwards 🤣😂.

Saw this movie in theaters with my mom when I was 14 and it’s honestly still one of the best movie theater experiences I’ve had so far LOL. At that last battle scene everyone was screaming and crying cause we were like THEY CHANGED THE BOOK ENDING!!! … but then when they reveal it’s a vision it got sooo quiet 😂 I was enraged. Gosh Twilight was such a cultural moment if you were a tween/teen girl between 2008 and 2012. Thanks for bringing all my memories back Kendall.

Being in the theatre for this movie was actually insane. I remember the quiet and stillness after the fight ends because it was just a vision, and how loud it got when Carlisle diedekxnsnsns like everybody gasped, screamed, and for out of their chairs it was insane.
Looking back at this movie and Kendall’s recap I can honestly say that the concept of ‘immortal children’ was the only plot that held this movie together. Because as a mythology fan the concept of immortal children and the destruction they could cause sounds interesting 🤔
