    I was married to my recently deceased Egyptian wife for 42 years, and I never learned to pronounce the breathy "HAH" sound that comes with many Arabic words. Maha makes it sound so easy, but I still can't do it. I'm so HAZEEN!

    As a Turkish speaker this video made me realize how much word we stole from arabic words 😅😅. We use maybe more than half of these words.

    Many of these words are same in Urdu so its really easy for me to learn, like qadeem, da' eef (zaeef) in urdu, taweel, qareeb, jadeed, faqeer these are all similar. Urdu also has ta'baan but it means illuminating or bright haha

    There were around 4-5 words that were exactly the same in Hindi. Probably because of the language-exchange tracing back to the pre-colonial India when Arab-Indian trade was at its peak..

      @@mjmrilwan lmao what? Any part of India has not been historically occupied by the Arabs. When it comes to languages, Urdu and Hindi are Indo-European languages and Arab is a Semitic language. They don't share any origin (loanwords are a different story). Please get your facts right :)

    The first three is in my 30 year old learn Arabic book. Thanks for the articulation of the words especially with the"gh" sound in "sagheer. I guess I wasn't too far off in my pronunciation, (the accompanying CD, well, I didn't get to listen much) .Time for me to read again and finally use this quarantine to catch up and remember my Arabic.

    I used to consider these word as pure urdu litreature wow i didn’t knew these are arabic words like all the vocabulary cuz urdu as a whole language is a mixture of languages

    I’m 13 yrs old, I’m fluent in Spanish and in English, and I have found Arabic very easy !! I’ve learnt the Arabic alphabet including the “letter” Hamza. Learning Arabic is my fav hobby and I hope to later learn German, thank you very muchh ❤❤

      In Arabic most adjectives can serve as nouns so they both can mean a lazy person.
      Kaslan indicate a temporary state,while kasoul is a characteristic in the person's personality if that makes sense.

    Thanks for teaching and sharing ur language. I would like to learn de alfaphatic but only l see Arabic teaching the sound. I would like to know what's the letter representing each Arabic symbol. Example a b c d f etc. Will be very helpful to learn arabic. I'm converted to muslan l woul like to read the Coram.

      one letter standing for many sounds such as " z" means that these sounds come from different places of sound box( our mouth)
      Like english
      arabic also has two forma of alphabetic letters that is high scale and low scale
      usually small scale are galf their high scale version
      arabicis a guttural language
      mist of its sounds such as q h a ق ح ع
      Come from
      throat
      If you remember it you will remain content with its sounds
