He should review Resident Evil Outbreak. The story may not be good but the mechanics are realistic: You technically have a time limit (in this case, infection) and if you suffer too much and still alive, the "zombie" meter goes faster until 100% and you know what that means... dead. My big issue with this game is if you pause, it runs in real-time, so reload BEFORE entering another room. Resident Evil 3 is on of my favorite games of all time. When I was a child this game flat out traumatized me to the point of not being able to play past the first Nemesis encounter. But then when I was a teenager I found a PC version and downloaded it on my laptop. To get past my fears I played the game dozens of times and can now beat the game multiple times in one day. Which I have done more times than I am willing to admit.
SuperChochip the remake of 1 is awesome as well. nobody beats the mansion in eeriness and ambiance. Everybody likes 4, because of the action, and it does have cool mechanics, but I don't like it that much because of the god awful story (the presiden't daughter? really?) lol.

+J. Mike I always thought it was copyright issues. IIRV there's a game called Biohazard here. Biohazard makes hella more sense then Resident Evil, but IDK considering the somewhat B horror feel the old ones tended to come off as I personally prefer R.E
Your comment is old so you may not even see this but I feel the biohazard name makes more sense, since only a few of the games take place in a residence. But to answer your question, it was because of copyright reasons, as there was a band (I think?) that was named biohazard in america already.
@19:21 WOW never knew it was feasting on the body of the tyrant I thought it was just mutating! Also, that acid valve trick ?? I played this game so many times and I'm still learning new things about it !!
Nothing will ever ever *EVER* surpass the level of greatness that RE3 has in the Resident Evil series to me .. ( Also i admire Parasite Eve too so ... )
+RayzeCruxis I agree. Although I kinda enjoyed the second one a bit. After the second one the Resident Evil movies were starting to have nothing to do with Resident Evil. At least that's how I feel.

25:05 The M37 does the SAME damage per shot(shell) as the standard Benelli you find in the alley, it just fires faster, at the expense of being harder to score headshots with.
I did too. It had a decent story, just maybe a bit too much action. The different stories coming together felt like playing a Resident Evil version of Pulp Fiction, which I felt was awesome.
I do. Hunk is awesome. I rocked face in Mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 4 with him. My friends were all like, "Hunk sucks. All he has is a TMP." and I'm all like, "Tch, watch this." beat all their scores.
I thought the movies were pretty good for what they were, and please, no "your taste in movies is bad," I'll Citizen Kane/ Seven Samurai/ Glengarry Glen Ross your ass.
Saying "MY OPINION CAN'T BE BAD BECAUSE I LIKE XXX," is like saying a shit argument and following by "I HAVE A GPA OF 10 000 000 SO I CAN'T BE WRONG". No one cares and you're wrong.
BLARGLESNARF 4 ruined the series. People laugh at Chris the boulder-puncher but Leon is the exact same throughout 4. The gameplay is all bland action shooter, right down to ridiculous rail shooting segments and unimpressive bosses. The story is okay, but the parasites are incredibly lazy and allow them to do anything they want and just explain it as "Yup parasites is wacky"
+Ghosty0100 rezi 4 didnt kill the series, it was head that way since the resi veronica like you said so you cant blame "the straw that broke the camels back". ill agree that resi 5 wasnt the best but it was still a decent action game which may not be what people wanted but still deserves its recognition as a action game. the same applies to 6 which i thought was great for an action game. just cause they are not good "resident evil" game doesnt mean they arent good games. if they had a simple reskin and change in title then they would be loved so much more. this is also ironic coming from you who has a link from wind waker as a profile pic because i think that game was just awful! and not just cause of the cartoony graphics either.
I want Parasite Eve. I disliked PE2 tbh. What attracted me to PE was the RPG elements. PE2 ruined for me because it focused more on the horror aspect. And I enjoyed The 3rd birthday.
Stop being hateful you won't change their "taste" and you're more of an idiot if you think you make everyone like what you like (and also using the word idiot)
PE2 would be a better game if it werent connected to the first. It had interesting gameplay. I still really enjoyed both PE1 and 2, but 2 tried to be something the first game wasnt. I dont wanna talk about the last one...
Some hardcore completionists might note the fact that creating ammo has a nice RPGesque mechanics to it as you're able to create more ammo with the same amount of gunpowder if you use it multiple times and eventually you create "red" ammo for standard weapons (red bullets won't work with Eagle 6.0) that are supposedly more powerful.

He's not entirely wrong... about the Hunk game at least.
Biohaszard 3 was always going to be Biohazard 3 with Code Veronica always having been planned as a side game for Sega consoles.
Them being swapped is just a myth.
NO! he was correct CV being RE3 is a fucking myth...
Cowboy Nevermind you're right:

12:10. I love the inclusion of the DOOM '16 soundtrack, the Hell Guard theme fits with Resident Evil and Revelation-style games
He missed what I've always thought was the coolest thing.
When you put the unlimited ammo upgrade, on the mine thrower.
Oh my gosh when they remake for this game comes out it’s going to be so good awwww man I’m getting old and can’t wait
Jirad, play a Fire Emblem game
Tharacia 776 without a guide.
I second this
or xenoblade :)
Or the Skyrim Remaster *wink wink*
That wouldn't be a fun time at all. lol
I like the game series, but considering the dialogue unlocking...
If Capcom is going to remake Resident Evil 2 and 3 I hope they gave us the option to choose the style of the camera between original and Resident Evil 4 style.
Fixed camera or not at all.
I would just want them to change the controls
the remake for 2 will probably be like the original remake. just really updated graphics.l, new voice acting. stuff like that. same thing with 3.
they need to bundle it like rezi outbreak file 1 and 2
I have to ask though, why does everyone here think 3make (that's what I'm calling it from now on and you can't stop me) is actually happening? Did I miss something?
Damn, Jirard. This is the funniest video you've made in some time. Maybe it's just my love of this game and my ability to relate. Either way, awesome video!
I was a teenager when this came out, but Nemesis scared the fuck outta me. Every time that music hit, my heart would start racing.
Yeah, I think the canon ending is the one with Nicholai escaping and Barry comes to pick up Jill and Carlos.
I shot Nicholai down every time
+Dark Nyx Damn right. He wasn't getting away with my ride.
Yep. This is exactly right. Nicholai gets away in the only helicopter and Barry shows up in the nick of time with another one to rescue Jill. He had been searching for her ever since he relocated his family to Canada after the events of RE1.
Yes Jill said in 5 Nicholai took the helicopter but it's unknown if she killed him or not but it means she jumped off the bridge and Barry rescue her and Carlos
*canonical, not "canon"
"canon" is not an adjective
I actually really liked the 2nd Resident Evil movie.
Yeah that's the only one I consider an ok movie.
its the OK one
Is it because Nemesis and Jill?
Cie'th Hunter Omega Not sure. I watched it when I was like 14. I'm 22 now so I might hate it if I re-watched it.
Austin Hennrich Only one way to find out, I watched it when I was around 9 or 10 I think and I liked it. Watched it last week still enjoyed it but not as much
Please do Code Veronica. It's honestly my favorite.
RE 1, 2 and 3 are what RE truly is and Im so sad that time is over. Yeah there is COde Veronica, but man the PS1 graphics and soundtracks are so good
Resident Evil 3 is on of my favorite games of all time.
Code Veronica is my favorite. it has the best story
It's the best of the Classic RE's for sure!
SuperChochip
the remake of 1 is awesome as well. nobody beats the mansion in eeriness and ambiance. Everybody likes 4, because of the action, and it does have cool mechanics, but I don't like it that much because of the god awful story (the presiden't daughter? really?) lol.
I like Code Veronica, but I prefer Nemesis purely for nostalgia :)
Plus most challenging. Puzzels are really hard and boss fights are not easy.
nemesis3587 Nah. Game gives you way too much ammo and way too many guns. It's good but def not one of the harder ones.
2:45 Why is Resident Evil called Biohazard in Japan anyway? I never understood that. Why didn't they use Resident Evil or why didn't we use the Biohazard name?
15:38 Hello random annotation.
20:31 lol
26:57 Isn't the VR optional? They didn't make it a VR game did they?
+J. Mike I always thought it was copyright issues. IIRV there's a game called Biohazard here.
Biohazard makes hella more sense then Resident Evil, but IDK considering the somewhat B horror feel the old ones tended to come off as I personally prefer R.E
In addition to what has been said by Mike and LarB, marking Resident Evil vs Biohazard to the "edgy" 90's audience was the obvious way to go, lol.
Your comment is old so you may not even see this but I feel the biohazard name makes more sense, since only a few of the games take place in a residence. But to answer your question, it was because of copyright reasons, as there was a band (I think?) that was named biohazard in america already.
Donald Powell damn man , you replied to these fellas hella late
"we're playing the gamecube version...."
Me: "so the dreamcast one"?
@19:21 WOW never knew it was feasting on the body of the tyrant I thought it was just mutating!
Also, that acid valve trick ??
I played this game so many times and I'm still learning new things about it !!
Nothing will ever ever *EVER* surpass the level of greatness that RE3 has in the Resident Evil series to me ..
( Also i admire Parasite Eve too so ... )
Parasite eve is fucking awesome, i wish this "completionist" do 1st and 2nd. But my dreams never come true.
The first movie wasn't the worse thing in the world. Am I the only one who thinks that?
1st one just had some stuff that bothered me but i think its a fun watch. after that one is when the problems show.
+RayzeCruxis I agree. Although I kinda enjoyed the second one a bit. After the second one the Resident Evil movies were starting to have nothing to do with Resident Evil. At least that's how I feel.
I looked at it as a side story. If you do that it's fine.
The first one was okay but good lord the rest of the movies are just terrible
+RayzeCruxis the first one was really cool....the other ones sucked
Loved this game as a kid!!!! Played the shit outta it!! Along with RE2
This game is sadly still better than Remake. Why Capcom has to cut so much content ?
We really need a DLC for RE 2 and for RE 3 (in that order !)
Also Vanilla Re 1,2,3 for GOG please !
Capcom You can do it !
26:25 "The death cannot die" Oscar winning writing truly
This is one of my most fav Completionust vids!!!
I liked the movies, but the games are much better, but I don't mind the action set of 5 and 6 though I didn't like 5
"Luckily and Thankfully his game was canceled"
What is this Heresy I hear?! a Hunk game would kick ass.
Can’t wait for him to review the remake.
Nemesis has the best line in the franchise "S.T.A.R.S".
25:05 The M37 does the SAME damage per shot(shell) as the standard Benelli you find in the alley, it just fires faster, at the expense of being harder to score headshots with.
How dare you speak ill of Hunk, Jirard! He is the single greatest hero of the RE universe, FOR SHAME I SAY!
I liked RE 6.
I did too. It had a decent story, just maybe a bit too much action. The different stories coming together felt like playing a Resident Evil version of Pulp Fiction, which I felt was awesome.
@@wyattwebb6963
Whem I was a kid I was not afraid of RE6 but I was afraid of RE revelations.
@@Raccon_Detective. yeah, my brother quit playing after the body in the vent scene.
@@wyattwebb6963
Same the skagdead gave me nightmares that's how a RE should be.
@@Raccon_Detective. Yeah, and the underwater enemies always made me want to avoid the water.
Am I the only one who loves tank controls?
In my opinion, RE3 have the best mercenaries mode. It actually have objectives instead of being just racking points by killing enemies
I do. Hunk is awesome. I rocked face in Mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 4 with him. My friends were all like, "Hunk sucks. All he has is a TMP." and I'm all like, "Tch, watch this." beat all their scores.
correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Capcom make RE3 just to appease Sony's three game contract and Code Veronica is actual the true RE3
No that's just a myth
Damn...the original RE3 is amazing compared to that turd of a remake! We got robbed of so much bad ass game play...sigh...
I couldn't get into the remake, too much cut content and no mercenaries.
Lord of Necropolis is a much better remake, and its fanmade
I thought the movies were pretty good for what they were, and please, no "your taste in movies is bad," I'll Citizen Kane/ Seven Samurai/ Glengarry Glen Ross your ass.
Your taste in movies is bad
I agree, though I do understand the complaints about Alice being OP in Apocalypse and Extinction, and also her being so focused on.

Saying "MY OPINION CAN'T BE BAD BECAUSE I LIKE XXX," is like saying a shit argument and following by "I HAVE A GPA OF 10 000 000 SO I CAN'T BE WRONG".
No one cares and you're wrong.
I love the tank controls! Glad you liked the game, and great video!
13:16 I got that reference. I used to play that game a bunch when I was younger.
People bash the films to be more action focused as if they haven't seen a single cutscene from the games since Code Veronica.
But Code Veronica is better, though. A sequel to RE2 and a damn good one, too.
Yes, but every game since Code Veronica had been awful.
+Ghosty0100 Nothing Leon did matches punching a god damn boulder...in the middle of a volcano.
Anyone remember mercenaries Wesker on Code Veronica?
I do! Going around with a knife was good fun :)
So much rage quitting back in the day.
Good times, remember tofu mode from RE2? That shit was ridiculously hard but so satisfying to beat (after about 100 deaths lol).
I want Parasite Eve. I disliked PE2 tbh. What attracted me to PE was the RPG elements. PE2 ruined for me because it focused more on the horror aspect. And I enjoyed The 3rd birthday.
PE2 may blow ass but really? The 3rd goddamn Birthday? fuck off
Stop being hateful you won't change their "taste" and you're more of an idiot if you think you make everyone like what you like (and also using the word idiot)
Moogle Midgar Parasite Eve II and The Third Birthday are both terrible games.
PE2 would be a better game if it werent connected to the first. It had interesting gameplay. I still really enjoyed both PE1 and 2, but 2 tried to be something the first game wasnt.
I dont wanna talk about the last one...
Parasite Eve 2 was class!
Awesome video!!!! Love love love res3 so I appreciate it
I did this for RE2 and I'll do it again.
GIVE US THE R3MAKE.
It’s here bro finally!
Theory:
Dutch Bros. is Umbrella in disguise.
That's a joke for my pals in Oregon.
Oregon here! Very nice XD haha.
gotta love Oregon
It was that coffee shooting secret agent all along.
You should of played the Dreamcast version.
should've = should have. there's no "of".
wot woz dat?
victor martone I don't give a fuck grammar Nazi.
+AJTComicsBrand Don't get your nickers in a twist you willy wopper.
+Kaalel Vigil YEAH! wait, what?
Since I'm not a fan of first-person games, especially because that keeps me from connecting with the player character, I don't like that RE7 is FP/VR.
Got a question which Tyrant is that at 19:30? Because the one from RE2 was blown to pieces.
You should give credit to the songs you play
"Resint evil"
Man he really treated hunk like that
Gave it a like because of the wild arms music near the end. You earned my sub.
Whats the music playing int he background at 28:32?
