A lot simpler than a truckers knot.
I do love the truckers hitch.. however you cannot just adjust that knot.. you have to redo the whole damn thing.
Yankee Tanker that’s why you keep more then enough coradage so you can always do it right the first time
Black shirt, black cordage, black camjam, dark heavily shaded area…perfect for a product review video 😎
aww. thanks pumpkin.
@@YankeeTankerOutdoors bless your little heart for trying 😘
anything for you sweet cheeks.
@@YankeeTankerOutdoors lol, I was actually going to say sugar britches in my last reply but changed my mind at the last minute 😳 That one deserves a sub 👍
lmao.
Definitely gonna have to pick up a few of these for just this reason!
I can tie plenty enough knots to make a ridgeline and pruskiks and hang my hammock and tarp etc but I just love hardware. I like DMM climbing biners, but I've only just discovered smaller biners like these from nite ize. Thankyou for the inspiration.
Another really helpful video...thanks 🙏
The great part of a bowline knot is it will never come undone the more you pull it the tighter it gets!!!
That was the other piece of gear I like in your bob. Definitely picking some up for sure. Thanks👍🍻
Get the XL's - the other ones are kinda only good for working guy lines to stakes.
Love these things. Use them on the boat to secure everything
NiteIze makes some really handy stuff. Good vid bro.
When I got home I went through a gear box. I have a ton of their stuff and it’s all really innovative and useful.
Agree! I actually had and used a phone case from them for a while. Their variety of products always surprises me. I've been shopping for some pretty specific tools or accessories, and...look at that... another Niteize product... 😂
Perfect example -- just realized I've been using the same Nite Ize rugged glasses case for like 6 years now!
Let's be honest you can make a perfectly good ridgeline in this case with a bowline and a trackers hitch. The Cams are most useful for securing loads in a box.
On the bowline end just put a bite in the loop and use a toggle wont have run the line thru that way much quicker.......
I normally see people putting the line around the second tree from the left side. It's supposed to make feeding the cam jam easier from the natural side.
I like it a nice idea thanks for sharing
Scarecrow1776 thanks for watching
Put your camera on a tripod. Wow.
Why use knots? I put it through the hole, simple double square knot then burn the end with a lighter and it doesn’t go anywhere. Then I tie the other end to a utility connector loop and it works perfectly. I can set up a tarp shelter in any situation in minutes with these pre-made cam jam rigs I put together.
You def can do that. I just like having the loop on the end. But great point.
@@YankeeTankerOutdoors Makes sense. Great video!
What is this knot called?
Do they make one that would work with 1.75 zing it ?
not sure.. you would have to check - sorry
This, or their Figure 9 tightener? This seems more "labour intensive" with a better (worse) failure point.
Your call. I like both.
Bugout bag? What is that? Is there a bag to get bugs out?
Midget_X 😂😂😂
Its not how to tighten ridgeline with CamJam... You should make a little loop/eye on main part of the line and then attach CamJam to this loop/eye. This way lines are more parallel (and this tool is strongest to stretching) and will not slip.
Its killing me...Burn your ends and ahhhh overhand knot or half hitch on your tail. Apologize...Old Ranger Battalion is seeping out of me!
lol.. No worries.
The loudness of the intro 😬👎
