I'm a huge nite ize convert. Let me start by saying that I started out with only knots. I use the siberian hitch, marlin Spike hitch, bowline, friction hitch and taught tarp hitch to put up all of my gear, make ridgeline and adjustable guy lines etc. I hang my hammock from whoopies to DIY trees straps set to a Marlin spike. That being said I decided to try hardware because I can't always be bothered and realised they are a game changer. Especially useful when it's freezing cold and you don't want to Remove every glove layer. I suggest newbies learn to put a tarp up with no hardware though. What would they do if they lost or forgot their hardware? Just turn round and go home?

Stumbled upon your channel by pure chance. You definitely have some comic relief parts that I found cheesy lol. The trees I believe are like a Red Cedar and Pine... cut off a fresh piece of red tree and smell it next time. You'll know Cedar smell lol, everyone loves fresh Cedar. I subscribed and "liked" the channel. Maybe next vids could be "how to safely stow supplies off ground from critters and other furry farts" or something along them lines.... all in all, you're doing just swell and look forward to more videos. Maybe even teach me something don't know? Cheers ~~~ American Retired Army Combat Veteran.

Another fantastic video there mate. If by chance you do ever knock your burner over then make sure to post it haha love those little karibeenears you use! i absolutely hate paracord because of having to tie knots so use a lot of bungees but these seem to make it easy. Atb Mike.
