    Probably one of the best videos I've ever seen on not only the a6000, but on what a person really needs to do to start the progression from amateur to "Hey, he's a pro! That's dope!" My cameras and glass cover quite a range, but in the end, when you can tell the camera what to do instead of the other way around, that's when you've really made the first step. All the areas you cover here really expand on that and so so so much more. Thanks for making this and giving many folks the confidence and know how they need to create awesome content. And even without that background light, your video STILL looks great!

      however - the audio advice. Really should give options for audio recording equipment other than a cellphone hehe. Unfortunately the a6000 has no input for external mic. so we gotta use something like a tascam or the Sony ECM-GZ1M for the multi-port thingie on top.

    This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for! I’ve had it for years but hated the quality of video for makeup tutorials, so thank you!!! Does 3 point lighting work for makeup/skin closeups? I’m still working with the kit lens for now. Thank you & subscribed! 👍🏾

    • @VisionaryFilmStudios
      @VisionaryFilmStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Jane I'm so glad my video was helpful for you! As far as lighting for skin and makeup closeups, three point lighting should be a good option for you, but you'll want to make sure to position your key light for loop lighting, not rembrandt or split. I've also seen a lot of people use a ring light positioned around the camera for makeup tutorials and that sort of thing, because you can get a great wash of soft light across your face.

    I shoot with the a6000's little bro, the a5100. The only current asp-c camera that I would consider an upgrade would be the a6000. It offers a bit of advantage with available accessories like cages, and it's hot shoe. I have one of those Sony mics that will fit it, but my a5100s don't have a hotshoe for it. I really don't like the 4K 6xxx series cameras.

    I am thinking of buying my first camera but I have a very limited budget and I want to use it to sell stock photos and videos and also film nature for my youtube channel! This camera keeps popping up! I wanted to ask you is this the best camera for photo and video that I can get at it's price range in 2022? and do stock videos and photos actually sell with this camera? I would love the advice... you'd be helping me a lot!

    • @VisionaryFilmStudios
      @VisionaryFilmStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Buying a first camera is really exciting! Congratulations!
      I'd definitely say it's the best Sony camera you can get for under $500. If you have a little extra budget the ZVe10 is an incredible camera, but it's about $900 with a lens. I don't sell stock photos and videos, but I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to with either of these cameras. I use the ZVe10 on professional shoots when shooting TV commercials and those sorts of projects and it stacks up pretty well against my more expensive cameras like the a7Siii and a7iv (especially when you implement the tips I go over in this video). The a6000 is still a great camera, and I still wouldn't hesitate to recommend it in the sub-$500 price range.
      Hope this helps! Don't hesitate to hit me with any other questions you might have, I'm happy to help!! Normally I respond a bit quicker, but I just returned from a trip to Texas late last night.

    I will travel to Bali and maybe I will take my alpha with me. But I’ve tried to film a little but the footage is a little shaky. Is there anything I can buy and would help? Please no gimbal, because of weight for traveling

    • @VisionaryFilmStudios
      @VisionaryFilmStudios  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      One of the best ways to get more stable footage from cameras like the a6000 is to just shoot in slow motion. If you shoot in slow motion, you don't end up noticing all the little camera jitters that you see when recording in real time.
      I've did a video last year on shooting in slow motion, I'll leave a link to it here! :D th-cam.com/video/gCDKn1PuInw/w-d-xo.html
      Yes, a gimbal definitely would also help with the problem- but I absolutely get not wanting to take up space in your luggage with something big like that! I might recommend looking into one like the ZHIYUN Crane M3 if you're at all willing to mess with a gimbal as one like that is quite a bit smaller than the convensianal gimbal. But if you just don't want to mess with it at all, then just shooting all your footage in slow motion is going to be your best bet!
      You can also shoot with a higher shutter speed and then add a stabilization effect inside your editing software when you go to edit the footage, which could help a lot as well!
      Hope this helps!

    • @taschafantastic
      @taschafantastic ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VisionaryFilmStudios thank you so much for this detailed answer! Maybe I will take a look onto the Zhiyun gimbal. But the slow motion video ist also very nice. ☺️ need to figures out, what would be the best. As a backpacker, weight and space is a huge topic 😂

    9:21 ok. For everyone who isnt a "car guy" the worst thing you can do to a car guy when we talking video, is to edit in a sound from a different car to another. Like on my time stamp. If you are a car guy you like me, can feel the rage when you put something like i dont know maybe it was like a Porsche engine? Over a mustang engine. Absolute disgrace. Never ever do it.
