    I sold my Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold and kept my Z Fold 6 and Honor Magic v3 (Global)

    A fold 6 has a great software suitable for foldables…also the camera bump is small which makes it a lot more handy and compact

      You're not wrong! It does need a case so it can sit flat. The new Z Fold 6 SE looks good.

      @aaroncanter it has no S Pen support because the phone is meant to kill Chinese fold. Ablooms is design a take on that side of the market. That's why it has no s pen support

    I got my Pixel 9 Pro Fold recently, i noticed the first few dyas the battery was abysmal, but after the few days were done, i found my pixel is lasting 24-36 hours without charge.
    Why i went pixel 9 Pro Fold - Samsung experience for me seems more convoluted in many aspects, not to mention the bloatware i dont need at all, i really miss old Samsung where they cared about a clean UI experience, My phone is a phone, not a gaming device for me, productivity isnt about Games its about real world experience of the average users, most people dont need floating screens (Yes i have that enabled from Dev Settings), but the average person doesnt need 4 apps on one screen as it becomes harder to read or do anything. If you want productivity in that kind of way a Tablet or a PC would be more useful in these cases.
    Most users dont have the fold for opening it constantly, i find on average i only open it when sitting down, which is 10% of my daily experience. the 90% is just the front screen use only.
    I find my experience on a Pixel device smoother over Samsung devices and more consistent and cohesive. I like the fact the wider screen is easier to use as it reminds me of holding my normal slab phone.

      Well said. As you can undoubtedly tell by my videos, I'm of the same mindset. The outside wider screen just only makes sense. I'm not one to play games on my phone either, so that's why the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is my phone of choice. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment on the video. I do appreciate your support. 👍

    Great video! I tried the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and ended up selling it on Swappa this week. Here's why I went back to the Z Fold 6:
    Performance: The Z Fold 6 is noticeably faster and smoother.
    Software: Samsung's software is more polished and intuitive.
    One-handed use: The Z Fold 6 is easier to manage with one hand. Pixel 9 pro giant bezels are annoying.
    Gaming: The Pixel 9 Pro Fold struggled to run games smoothly for me.
    Customization: I missed being able to customize the cover and inner screens separately, which you can do on the Z Fold 6. Only 4 apps in a row on the cover screen is ridiculous.
    If I hadn't used a foldable before, I might have been okay with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. But after experiencing the Z Fold 6, there was no comparison for me.

    Another thing people need to consider is the actual cellular service. I’ve heard a lot of people saying the pixel still has poor connectivity issues.

      I haven't noticed an issue with the new cellular chip, but then I live in a valley where we have strong service. I thought they went with a new radio to prevent that with the 9 series phones. I'll do some checking on that, I'd like to know if there is an issue. Thanks for being that up and tuning into the channel. I appreciate your support!👍

    I was deciding between the fold 6 or magic v3, ended up with the Samsung which has been already durability tested by my nephew. He likes to turn it to a "tent". Overall I'm happy with the phone and the narrow screen is not that bad either because I find myself using it a lot.

    What I want to know is the Android Auto Performance. For example does it warm up? does it slow down or give error when in extensive use. have the Pixel 7 pro and that's the issue i have is performance with that and I travel a lot for work. so Music GPS on Android auto maybe running youtube as well lol

      I actually don't have any vehicles to use Android Auto with, that is to say, I don't have any compatible Android Auto vehicles. But I have used it in all other scenarios you listed there, in my car on a tablet mount. I have not had any issues with it overheating in any combination of use. My Pixel 9 Pro does seem to run cooler than my Pixel 8 Pro did as well, so I think the cooling chambers along with the new processor is helping the 9 series quite a bit. Oh yeah, and I have yet to get an overheating warning during 4K video, which is something that happened all the time even on the Pixel 8 Pro. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and leaving your comment. I appreciate your support. 👍

    Not even a competition, have both and Fold 6 is the king of folds. Ye, some folks like the "larger" screen but thats´the good with a fold..small in pocket and large when you fold it up. I do use it more for fun tho, a fold can´t handle my own daily use. :)

      Here is a summary of key points for buyers perspective from the TH-cam video:

      * The Z Fold 6 runs on Android 14.
      * The Pixel Fold offers a pure Android experience, while the Z Fold 6 offers more customization options.
      Processor:
      * The Pixel Fold has a Google Tensor G4 processor.
      * The Z Fold 6 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
      * The Z Fold 6 has a faster processor on paper, but both phones feel the same in day-to-day use.

    I prefer the Pixel Fold because it is more user friendly and easy to use. That is plain and simple to me. I do not need too many gimmicks or multiple screens floating around which is too much for the eyes anyway. Simplicity wins in my book.

It took 2 months to get it replaced. I just got it back and I'm working on a video on the comparison between that and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It's looking like AI is going to be the determining factor. Honestly that's what most or a lot of tech people say so that really wasn't anything new but good information. I don't understand why people are not talking about the honor V3 with it being global. Hands down the best phone by far..

    • @GOTgoodoldtech-1964
      @GOTgoodoldtech-1964  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      To be honest, I’m already stretched with my budget since I have to buy all these devices out of pocket. The Honor V3 is one of those outlier devices that just isn’t as popular in the US, so it wouldn’t bring in as many views as some of the other ones do. It took a while for the OnePlus Open to gain enough attention to really spark interest, but the good news is that it's starting to pave the way for other manufacturers. So, it’s only a matter of time before we see more global devices catching on. In my next video, I’ll be diving into why buying devices outside of the US can be a bit risky. I know I haven’t covered everything here, but hopefully, this gives you a clearer picture of why the interest just isn't there yet. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate your support! 👍
