Just a quick tip: You want to always end your Kaioken string, before the finisher, with 2S. It does more damage than 5S since the H command grab is harder to get in most situations.
You forgot to mention that if you press down + light, down + medium, or down + special kaioken does different attacks. d+l does an overhead, d+m does a low, and d+s shoots a blast upwards diagonally.

Little thing I believe you forgot to mention is that Goku can also crouch during a Kaioken attack to change the properties of the attacks. His Ki shot shoots upwards and his crouching Light and Medium are the second attacks after mashing light or Medium. I'm pretty sure the crouching medium hits low and I think from the looks of it that the light one is an overhead but I haven't tested that.
Mythril JoJo yep kaio ken hits low and high. I've been using it as a last ditch effort with Goku, it's basically a barrage of cross ups, mix ups and command grabs.

Ah yes, the 2nd Medium can be a low.
William Bochat You can press down M to get the low whenever you want. You can also do down L to get the overhead from the second L whenever you want
Great video! I don’t know if any one alerted you, but the kaioken is deeper than you’ve mentioned. On top of front, cross up and grab you can also go low and overhead by doing 2M an 2L respectively.

The finisher of Kioken is fully invulnerable so you can use it as a full screen punish to random lvl 3s and whatnot by activating it and going straight to the finisher.
Zamasu can also combo into spirit bomb by delaying the ball special after knocking the opponent toward the ground from an air combo. The delay means the ball connects a bit later which gives the SB time to reach the opponent.

You can do heavy into mini spirit bomb into level 3 to do over 8000 damage or with sparking it will do over 9000 damage

Also dont forget his lvl 1 is invincible on startup if you go straight into the finisher. So it makes up for his lack of wake up lvl 3
There must be some weird timing to that loop because most of the time in training the cpu just backrolls out of the last hit
You can also dash underneath his level 3 spirit bomb to get to the other side and wait for it to be thrown then you can super dash to goku

The Kaioken also has a low with 2M, an overhead with 2L, and an upwards ranged blast with 2S.

Well I guess you forgot to say that 236L shoulder has even better loops in corner than autocombo loop.
I think for kaioken x20, by doing the ki attack and going directly into the level 2, you can do the most damage as well.
you can actually run under the spirit bomb if your close enough to middle screen and punish fully
Dude you missed two more mix ups in the level 1 super. You can press 2.L for a forward overhead or 2.M for a full screen slide (front low attack).

Wow they where right that spirit does monster damage and pretty much a huge projectile
5H can also combo into a level 3 Spirit Bomb as long as it hits as a smash attack since it gives you a wallbounce.
so you can do ssj goku's normal 2 level 1 combo and then dhc into spirit bomb. nice

After seeing how different they are from their other versions, I might be in the minority, but these two might be my favorite DLCs so far.
You forgot to talk about the overhead and low buttons the kaioken has! Up L does an overhead, and down M is a low!
I think Goku base is hard to use, you need to build a team around him, on the other hand Vegeta is so easy to use
If your making a base Goku team, you HAVE to try Base Goku + Base Vegeta. Holy hell it is fun

Hey underdawg thanks for the tips but you forgot or haven't seen gokus shoulder corner loop. You can get 3 or 4 light shoulder hits by timing it right. I can only get 2.

Yeah I have seen those, but IMO they aren't as consistent. Plus they do not work on certain characters.

I’m on Xbox and these combos for goku seem impossible. I’ve tried so many different guides and I’m just wondering if anyone could help me out with the combos on console.
Sparking Lemon I personally change certain combos on Xbox because some combos can’t really be optimal with an Xbox controller.

Sabotower Gaming hit does really well when paired with a beam like ssj goku and goku black.
Definitely Piccolo for your team if you're interested in playing him. His level one is really good for your team, it holds them in place for a very long time, you'd be able to hit cells supers and hits with ease. His assist also stays at a fairly low level, so if you're in the corner at a decently low height you can heavy hit the enemy into piccolos assist, land, hop up again and continue the combo. Biggest hurdle with picollo is achieving heavy knockdowns to do your supers with, which is fairly easy once you learn a few of his combos, you just need the corner. Once you get the hang of him ironically you'll have the options to pick when you want to get a hard knockdown. Best strategy is to get them against the wall, you can end your combo with a heavy hit into medium demon slicer, which can be followed up with your special beam, light grenade or even hellzone grenade if you time it well. His air combos can be tricky at first, for best damage you should let his jumping medium animation play out for the second hit. Other than that he's pretty easy to get combos with, just got to be willing to spend bars on him for combo conversions off of your special moves.
The different Ki blasts are a thing that probably should have gotten a mention. Like how if you hold down, it comes from the ground. Great for mixups. And the difference in distance, too. It's not something I think is _overly_ important, but it feels like it would've been worth a mention at the very least.

Not really a mix-up. They don't hit low and you can super-dash through them.

Also keep in mind that the kaioken cannot be used to punish a dragon rush, someone tried on me and it did not work out for him.
You can vanish out of kaioken instantly if you try to use it as a mixup tool
just saying, but if u want to make the most damage of kaioken, just finish it directly with the kamehameha, damage scaling only fucks it up
Shouldnt you also be able to punish Goku's lvl 3 with a vertical super? Like say Kid Buu's Extinction attack if he's under Goku, and 18's lvl 1 after the Spirit Bomb moves down some?
How do you end the kaio Ken attack with Goku holding the enemy over his head?

Because there are 4 different platforms with different button names. Easier to refer to things using the standard fighting game terms that have been around for decades
