He has a bunch of techniques Genkidama with one hand / Super genkidama / Kamehameha / Kaioken wich make him far more special than his other forms where he basically just shoot kamehameha every single time. I like base goku for the simple reason we get to see more of his tactical martial art skills different from the nowadays Goku that sadly those skills aren't much effective so he's pushed to be a brawler

They're clones. I don't know why it always has to be bad thing tho. Usually clone characters have entirely different playstyles and are dope as fuck, like Evil Ryu in SF series. But they're still clones with same or almost identical model and/or some animations.
Seeing this combo video and how Goku > SSJ Goku > SSB Goku in this game somehow proves the sad fact that DB series went from more technical to pure brute power...

Liquido Suave I just still can’t get over how good he looks and moves in the game. That air-Kaioken Kamehameha is top notch 👌🏽. It does feel off though because you figure that the base version of a character would be the simplest and an altered/ascended form would be more complex. Like with Ryu and Evil Ryu from Street Fighter.
most of the cool stuff goku does is from before he turned super saiyan, so they had a lot to work with pretty much everything else afterwards except the IT kamehameha on cell was just kinda regular fighting?
Multiple reasons and I won't waste your time with how canon power levels are irrelevant. Basically, these two are paid DLC and need to have some valid powerful options to stick out given that they don't have all of the Yellow or Blue versions. Vegito Blue already fills the niche of the most damage through basic combos with nice meter build. These two get their big damage in other ways to shake things up. It would be ridiculous to develop DLC which people don't want to use online, in general or in tournament.
