What a poignant scene. Gerda is a remarkable person to accept Einar's transition to Lili.

He was not selfish not anytime. He just want to do which was his dream . From childhood he became a person who never want to be. Now he got the chance then why he will leave it
Why I am so feeling that Eddie deserves an oscar more than Alicia, I mean both are deserving, but eddie just brought two different characters in one movie and I didn’t actually feel that Lili and Enar is one person. So when Lili appears in a scene I forget the real Enar was.

It is truly a gorgeous story yet so sad the undying, sacrificing love gives me goosebumps taking a love story to a whole other level. Wow and very glad this movie got the recognition it deserved. Eddie Redmayne truly engrossed himself in his characters and their transition, which can be convincingly challenging. ✌️
It’s crazy to think that Greda went from Lily’s wife to kinda her pseudo husband because Greda takes on the “masculine” role
2:17 this scene make my heart broken 💔😭
btw why did she start to cry in this moment? I mean, everything was fine.
ꀘ ꂦ ꁴ ꍏ ꀘ same!! Like i dont get it
Wished she'd come right back and hugged him when he started crying :'(
It just goes to show you that true love is pure
Eddie and alicia are amazing. I first saw Eddie in Murderous Intent. And I first saw Alicia in Tomb Raider. Alecia didn't get much of a chance to show what a great actress she was in TR, so I didn't know she was this good.
Dude, Eddie Redmayne is amazing.
Her eyes is so attractive
Eddie made Lily so cute and aw i just wanna squeeze her
This made me cry seeing Eddie redmayne cry
Well crafted movie with great art, cinematography.... Tom Hooper unique style of film making is much inspirable
Omg Eddie is the most attractive and talented person omgggg
When you have a crush on Eddie as both a guy and a girl...
Why does Eddie redmayne look flawless in every role he's in ? He even looks amazing as a woman , I just wanna look decent as a bloke he has to be good at both
Matthias plays a great role. Lilli and Gerda noth love him, but Gerda is fighting it. At the end you get to believe Hans is going to end up with Hans. He's such a great actor.
Incredible actor
Wikipedia said that she died during complications during a uterus transplant. Maybe they didn’t understand the unfeasibility of such a procedure with the instruments they had back in those days...
I didn’t even know uterus transplant was a thing
She's beautiful.
Eddie Redmayane is the best actor he can act very different roles from one to another..i meant Stephen Hawkins character and this one
How lonely not to be understood by the whole world, except one person. If that person leaves you, you have no one left. Einar is crying for so many reasons: He will lose his body as he knows it, his wife may leave him, surgery may not work out and he'll be worse off, he is so intensely lonely at this point, and he is saying goodbye to his former self. What a poignant scene. Gerda is a remarkable person to accept Einar's transition to Lili.
I just want to embrace Lili and Gerda
Is this Oscar bait, or a great film? I want to know what you fine people think?
Definite Oscar bait, but not awful.
Angel Castaneda great film😂💕
Its a great film. Eddie was absolutely amazing in it.
One of the best film I have ever seen.
Personally I didn't really like it.
God Eddie is so beautiful as a woman like wow if he really was to transition in real life he could pull it off
Still love each other
Wat was the movie he won best Actor for at the Oscars?
cashelle cayenne The theory of everything
Beeeettttt Eddie had fun with this role . 😂😂😂
Why is Eddie Redmayne both handsome and pretty? Life is so unfair! 😭
0:33 looks directly into the camera...
their love for each other is so powerful that it even transcend lifetimes. They eventually reborn ito Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner now known as Caitlyn
I dunno if that’s the same thing, being that they were divorced by that time
I can see love from the wife. Husband treats her more like a friend!
Ho visto il film è eccezionale. È un attore bravissimo
Eddie,, you are a crazy actor, ❤❤❤
Damn I thought Eddie was Jessica Chastain for a minute... 😩😍😍😍 gorgeous
MY GODS, I LEGIT THOUGHT IT WAS JESSICA CHASTAIN! I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS EDDIE!
He definitely deserves winning best actor for this. I am more than disappointed that Leo DiCaprio won instead of Eddie. Leo would've deserved an Oscar for titanic or great Gatsby but not for the revenant. This obviously goes to Eddie.
I feel so bad for the poor wife
These Doctors are monsters. They killed this poor tortured individual & knew full well what they were doing 😒
Eddie is such a pretty woman with flawless skin and lovely lips. So unfair 😅
I feel bad for the woman. I feel so bad for her. She’s the one that suffered
An incredibil actor Eddie
Brillante actor, me emociona, excelente interpretación!!!
Did the doctors back then knew what they were doing back then or they were like " well someone's got to do it first"
I would love to see Cillian Murphy pkay Eddie's role.He did well in Breakfast at Pluto.
