What a great idea to sell stuff cheaper instead of keeping it two more days and then throwing it in the bin. I'd wish my local Aldi here in Germany did the same.
All the food in the bag looked pretty usable, and meat normally gets heated anyway, so no problem there.
The broccoli even if a bit ripe together with some of the veggie bag, a few potatoes, an onion and some basic spices could deliver a great veggie broth.
They're such good bags👍, I do wish more places did them so that more people could benefit and less food would go to waste! I used everything up and anything that we don't like, I make a point to pass it forward 😊 I actually made a brocoli and cheddar soup but that's a good idea for next time! Thanks for watching 👀

Great bag of food i need a small freezer the cabinet type the butchers i went to at christmas i hot a real bargain a small chicken a small gammon the is only me who likes it my grown up son doesnt and a piece of pork for 11.99p i got a rolled leg of lamb anc cut itin half a big tray lamb chops 2 thickpork chops andabig tray of gammon piecces all for 60 pound ive just got a pieceof pork left in freezer some gammon and chops but the js many a time i could pick up bread that is knocked down in price or other things but j cant put then in my freezer
Wow, Fran, that sounds like you had a great deal from your butchers 👌 I'd be absolutely lost without my freezers. I have a fridge/freezer in the kitchen and then a tall one outside. They are life savers when you manage to get ahold of a great bargain 😀
@@Withinabudget oh yes ive got a fridge freezer and a small undercoated fridge I had years I want to get a small chest freezer to replace my undervounter freezer
I’d definitely make broccoli n Stilton soup to use up the broccoli, if you like it of course. Be delicious with a bit of that bread you’ve got 😊
Yummy 😋 yes I love that soup! I put it in the freezer as I didn't have time to deal with it before Christmas, but I'll definitely make a soup with it 👍
