Railfanning - Jack London Square | PART 1

Hi everyone and welcome to another railfanning video! This is Part 1 of the videos I shot at Oakland/Jack London Square in the San Francisco Bay Area in California! This is very popular spot to rail fans to shoot video and take photos of trains "street running" up and down Jack London! The tall buildings provide great echoes for the horns as well! So please enjoy and I will post Part 2 of the video in the future!
PLEASE NOTE - this is before I had a tripod so my apologies for the shaking. Also this was taken before Pandemic so I wasn't able to list the trains due to the various schedule changes.

What time of day did the Auto Rack trains come through?

These crews are not checking the end car to make sure the headlights and ditch lights are off and the red tail lights are on.

often times the crew will just turn on the bell and headlights so that they don’t have to switch ends at the turnaround point. they just push the train and hope for the best even though they can’t see
