I was diagnosed with thyroid disease many years ago. I had a thyroidectomy and I currently have about 1/4 of my thyroid gland. I continue to see my endocrinologist about twice a year.

About my hair...
I have fine, chemical-free hair. Chemical free means no relaxer...no color...no nothing. :) I mainly wear my fine, natural hair in TWIST OUT styles. For me, twist outs are a protective style that have allowed me to retain length while enjoying wearing my hair 'out.'
I also love for my fine natural hair to have lots of bounce, curls and volume!
