    the CeraVe changed color and turned yellowish after one month. I continue to use it and no allergy found. I always store it in my bathroom's medicine cabinet, never exposed to sun light.

    Great video! Super informative. 🥰 Would you recommend using the Cerave vitamin C along with the olay regenerist retinol 24 fragrance free night cream? Also, should I apply the vitamin C night and day?

      You would never use ascorbic acid (Vit C) with retinol. Hence you use retinol and night and Vit C in the day time. It’s also very important use use SPF in the morning.

    Thankyou for posting your video. I just bought the roche posay after debating whether to get it or not get it. I liked the ingredients in it and actually store it in my drawer which is completely dark, I will use it and hope to get good results...thanks.

    I used la Roche posay is very good but if you use for long time u don’t see anymore the results
    The best Vitamin C for me is Vitamin C from murad the environmental shield the spray one it’s brightening the skin and giving a smooth skin it’s really good and excellent
    Try it and you will see

    I have tried both and prefer the CeraVe. I had a lot of skin sensitivity with the La Roche, even if I only used it every other day. I have not had any with the CeraVe.

    How does water-soluble vitamin C absorb into the skin when it’s mixed in with water-proofing lipids? Are we even getting the benefits from the vitamin C portion? Or does it just sit on top of everything else that’s absorbed?

    Thank you for the comparison. I'm a huge fan of La Roche Posay and just ordered their vitamin c serum prior to watching your video. The combo HAs, Glycerin, and Neurosensine appealed me more so than the vitamin c since I have very mild rosacea. You mentioned it takes 12 weeks to see results, so is that based on everyday use?

      Since you have rosacea you should use a different type of vitamin C, like THD. L ascorbic acid can be very irritating 🙏🏻

      Thank you mostly for being here! I am grateful for your support. To be honest, I think they both may suffice. It really depends on how your skin will tolerate them. What may help to decide, is wait about 3 weeks to see any changes. If there are no changes, some vitamin c serums can take up to 3 months before any noticeable improvements. So as long as no irritation occurs, be the judge at the 3 month mark.

    I suffered from adult acne. No single break out since using vit c la roche possay. Totally worth it! Yes it is expensive. But finally I have no pimple on my face and that feels good!!!

    I just found it strange that so many people complain about the fragrance but L did absolutely nothing, did it care? As to the droppers, most of the products do that, not just L.

    Awesome comparison! I have La Roche Posay products and they’re wonderful. Pricey but definitely worth it. I do have a question, since oxidation can take place how can this can be preserved? Thanks for sharing

    CeraV gave acne outbreaks. Now that you mention it's potential to clog pores I am glad I fully understand why. I have been doing well with cheaper brands that have lower percentage.

    My question is Vit C seems to be in an oil base solution. how do you apply your water base serums ?I know the Vit C is low ph so you use your fav essence to bring your ph back up but how does your water base absorb through the oil?

      pH can be lowered for greater efficacy by using an acidic cleanser, like one salicylic acid.

    Thank you for sharing almost every day interesting stuff. The first thing I use every morning after washing my face is Vitamin C. Lately every other night I am on Tretinoin 0.025% and after applying 3-4 days my face got puffy.I google it and said that puffiness means you are alergic to tretinoin! I like to hear your thought .Stop waiting for a week and then start using Retinol? Thsnks for your answer!

      Thanks for your feedback. Yes, normally face swelling is an allergic reaction. Burning, itching, crusting, or peeling are to be expected during the tretinoin purging period. Best to speak to your dermatologist so they can see it more carefully. Have you had the same experience with retinol?
