Hi there, if you are expat in Malaysia, please mix around with local people. So you will feel like really in the country. Instead of being in caccon living only with expat world only. Malaysians like to mix around and make friend. We speak English as second language with different level of efficiency. Feel free to 'live' in Malaysia dont just act like a tourist or a traveller, you will miss out some great thing. ❤
hahaha…get over yourself lol…alot of local people not necessary want to mix with foreigner also 😂😂😂 just stop preaching on how they want to live in Malaysia LOL…
Your guest has left out some details of MM2H program. Half of the money deposited in the bank can be taken out the following year for purchase of property, health and children's education. You can contact Andrew Taylor, an American expat who lives in Malaysia under the MM2H program for more detail. His channel name is the same as his name.
One of the best things, Malaysia is in the middle of the SEA.. easy to go to and fro Malaysia.. it's unique and very interesting.. That's why it's a central melting pot of diversity and food cuisines - western-eastern, northern-southern.. amazing place to live 👍🇲🇾😎
Fantastic information, I am considering Malaysia for retirement, I will be reaching out to you to see if it’s possible to come for a visit to scout the country, in the coming year…I am so impressed with your kind spirit and sounds like you have all the contacts… Continue success and I will be emailing you soon… Thanks for sharing….

there is something i dont get.... getting bank account without work permit. If I only want to get in for MM2H, not to work, how can I deposit cash if I won't be able to open bank account? something doesnt make sense. How to pay bills on monthly baisis without bank account?
Good, please advice those looking for relocation in Malaysia, respect the cultures of this country dont try to " export " un needed western cultures in the country 😂😂
Yep, like we need a hole in d head... Not enough dat we hav little Bangladesh, Nepal, Philippines, Indonesia, China, can we now expect to see d reintroduction of 'colonialism' in d heart of our ctry where d expatriates enjoy all luxuries due to d 'strength' of their respective currencies vi's d ringgit!! Not 4getting d subsidies given by our govt to make life affordable for d lower income locals but which will b enjoyed equally by these expatriates!!
Passport is stamped. Chop is a malay word and malaysian immigration officers use the word 'chop' instead of stamp as many of are not fluent in english. Stamped is the right word.😅 Chopped is cutting down a tree....😂

Is official business done in English? In government officess, banks, land registy, real estate contracts, courts?

Do a show regarding retirees 65+ years with no work, no schools concerns but focus on MM2H requirements, health insurance, etc.
She said "chopped" instead of "stamped". She is a true blue Malaysian!
Is Malaysia good for retirees ?
If you're American, the channel Andrew Taylor may be of interest.
Can an expat own their own business, or do they need a Malay partner owning majority stake in the business?
Welcome to KL 🇲🇾. Hopefully you all enjoy living in my homeland.
You don't need to have a job offer if you're a digital nomad. I think you can live there for 2 years on it
Renewal able after 2 years?
I should be taking the will to live there and have my money+get a job
I'm Malaysian thinking of moving out.
Excellent choice mate.😂 go now . Do not delay
@@amiryazidali7659 Wow, tajam sungguh your sarcasm, well done 🤣
Do. I'm sure you have your reasons so, go wherever you'll find your happiness.
i know it has to be about gaji right?
Ya. Ya..I also want to Aussie,NZ,California,Italy working in farm
Malaysia may be fairly cheap but it's a Muslim country. If you are happy living under Muslim law then OK. Otherwise stay away.
Muslim country will be the best place to raise a family away from the woke culture of the West.
The sharia law in Malaysia only applies to the Muslims, never to others.
Malaysian thinking moving out while others moving in, well thats normal, Hence, Korean , Chinese , Indian and European all over thr world
Not every Malaysian wants to move out. Thank you.
And a lot of ex Malaysians who moved out wants to come back.
Good, please advice those looking for relocation in Malaysia, respect the cultures of this country dont try to " export " un needed western cultures in the country 😂😂
Of coz, I don’t believe there is one country which whole global population want to move in. You know the best which country fit you most.
Title should read "moving to Malaysia: a guide for immigrants"
Why?
@@MattLloyd because the concept of "expats" is hypocritical. They're simply immigrants.
too many foreigners in malaysia already..
Expats and foreign workers from Bangladesh and immigrants from Indonesia are different.
Which foreigners? The millions who are illegally or the several thousands who are here legally and contribute to the Malaysian economy?
Expat and immigrant are two different things
Yep, like we need a hole in d head... Of course...dats not Malaysia's national language dude... so why its should be a big deal...unless U r Singaporean..@ INDON...😁
Yes, the early generations lacked English, but the newer generation can now learn it well.
We know it is “stamp “ not “chop” lah aiyoh. But we use the word “chop” because we used to it. Take it easy bruh
Msian professional moving out due to weaker Msian currency against the US $

Currency, not the country. US dollar is very strong right now.
@@heythave is it? all i see it looses value against properties and bitcoin ;)
