Expats Moving to Bangkok, Thailand; USD $489K Apartment (Ashton Silom) Review.
Today I'm in Bangkok, looking at apartments at 'Ashton Silom,' located right here: maps.app.goo.gl/DmvmAe9z7PnwWry18
It's smaller in size, at 75 sq meters (807 sq. ft). The higher price is because it's relatively new (building completed in 2020), and the excellent location on Si Lom Road, in an area known as the 'Wall Street' of Bangkok.
If you wanted to rent this place, you'd be looking at about USD $1,162 / month. If you want to buy it, about USD $489,000. HOA fees sit at around USD $180 / month.
One of the best perks is you get access to the Social Club on the 48th floor (AMAZING views). Plus a few floors down, you have a swimming pool, high-end gym, cinema room, and business lounge.

What does 4 million bucks get you in Singapore? Today we'll find out, as I tour 19 Nassim Road... a 1,475 sq ft luxury apartment. The design of this place is quite incredible. Is the price justified though? The truth is, Singapore is one of the most expensive cities you could buy property in! This city has a very small land mass, with a lot of demand (similar to Hong Kong), resulting in astrono...

The idea of having all your cash (and assets in general) in the same country you live and do business in, is an outdated and dangerous one. Instead, you ought to be spreading it over several countries. There's MANY reasons why. I'm going to go into a lot of them at my upcoming live event, 16th - 22nd June, in Costa Rica (and practical action steps to set all this up). Asset Protection will be a...

I just dropped mine mini 4 pro in the salt water 😭😭😭😭 I soak it in rice. Will see if it will help🙏🤞🤞
On the MM2H program. Anyone have a company in mind that does a proper visa and isn’t overpriced?
just go to the suburbs for half the price.. just make sure you are near the MRT or the LRT.. or the Commuter train.. got a hunch this bloke doesn't know very much about the local transport system..
Hi Matt, you should be aware that Labuan company structures used be ´tax-free´. This status has been changed just a few years ago to the current 3% tax-level plus a new obligation to have a physical office with 2 staff in Labuan. This, this status could be changed again with little prior notice. Does it make sense to establish a business on this uncertain basis?
No dishwasher?
Can you setup a company in Maleysia without living there? I want to live in Thailand but it's basicly imposible to setup a company there.
The influx of foreigners into Malaysia will only weaken the position of the Malay. Foreigners must understand that this is Tanah Melayu. We hope the Malay leaders like Tun Mahathir, Dr Akmal Saleh and Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang can fight for our rights and protect our privileges which are given by the Malaysian Constitutions.
I wish i have alot of money to live there.
The traffic in the video is in Jakarta, Indonesia, not in KL, Malaysia. Please don't mix. In Malaysia, there are not as many motorbikes as in Indonesia. And of course, the traffic in KL is not too crowded as in Jakarta.
thank u, I felt stuck , but I´m gonna try new things

Can you have a discussion on Taxation for Digital Nomad

What a wonderful video. Hope that you are having a good time and also a pleasant stay in KL, Malaysia.
3:46, hehe, that footage was Dany at the Traders Hotel, KLCC. And after that is an apt tour in Star Residences made by Dany.
How long to the beach time ?? How much is The HOA in Nautilus ??
seems like a rich environment for scams, and hugely exploitational.....
Please cut the background music. Its distracting
Most engaging. I suspect I will reach out to you both in the New Year.
Thanks Matt. Was exploring Sydney and Melbourne and decided I'm far more interested in exploring SE Asia and KL is of great interest to me. Your time there gives a lot more piece of mind for cost of living than perhaps someone visiting short term.
Is this you? th-cam.com/video/z__FFLuUdpY/w-d-xo.html
Madam I’m hearing so many accents in your speech! I suspect you’re a well travelled lady 😊👍🏻
I’ve been traveling to and staying in KL since 2016. I wouldn’t live here without a car, unless I couldn’t afford it. The city is reasonably sprawled, there are many nice things to do in the outskirts of the city and on the sea side. On top of that, the prices of national cars are super reasonable.
My dream is to live in Australia. Im living in Europe
is this unit still available?
Irritating music. Unable to concentrate
and a teen guest???????
Matt. Still looking for Costa Rica employees? I’m looking to relocate and could start off remote.
Any positions still available? I’m great on the phone and looking to relocate to Costa Rica.
This is not a beach it is a pool bar
The music on the back makes it very difficult to concentrate.
Thanks for this :) Helps a lot
Great video! Thanks a lot! Is Business generally done in English by the way?

My question is how available is Western food? Italian, French, English, American? My company gives me a choice each year for my Asia 3 month work that I have to do and I usually pick Shanghai (I have in-laws there) but have heard good things about KL and I am looking to try something new.
Western food is everywhere 😂

Hi, thank you for this video! I’m thinking of moving to KL but I have a big dog. She’s around 90lbs, how to go about that and is KL a dog friendly country that big?
How can I contact this lady and pay her for the checklist? Thanks
Fantastic information, I am considering Malaysia for retirement, I will be reaching out to you to see if it’s possible to come for a visit to scout the country, in the coming year…I am so impressed with your kind spirit and sounds like you have all the contacts… Continue success and I will be emailing you soon… Thanks for sharing….
Hi Matt, Thank you so much for your sharing. It is realllly helpful. I'm seriously thinking to move to Malaysia as well :)
Very informative video. I’m still waiting for a job offer 😥
Good information, thanks. But please remove this annoying music.
