Hello. I installed the VU Meter on the track and I have a terrible overload, although there is no overload on the master track. Is there even a limiter installed? Could you explain what my problem is?
I imported a WAV file, which was a song download from a hit record, and this master track meter shows it peaking way into the red. Yet the JS VU meter, as well as other VST meters I have, show it maxing out at -1 db, like a professionally mastered song is supposed to. Is this default meter wrong?
You should rename this video. A Vu meter measures dbvu (perceived loudness). Reapers master track measures (by default) dbfs. These are not the same. Those of you wondering about Vu meters in reaper should use JS: VU Meter (ZenoMOD) as a vst plugin (bonus tip, right click and show in mcp or tcp to see it as you work.)
Sorry about that. we're on the case to change the title and will bring the correct VU meter video out soon. Glad you're feeling the video though. Nice one!
Great overview of some key settings in Reaper!
Шикарно брат! полезное видео
Nice one, Glad you find them helpful.

Thanks Julian, We've edited the title etc, and will do a VU meter video.
Great video except that is not a VU meter.
