- So yesterday I found out how to do the Black Hole Glitch in Super Mario Maker 2. It's a really crazy glitch and it lets you do a lot of unintended things. Have fun messing around with it before it's patched :p

This is the Glitch Super Mario Maker 2 deserves.
Now we just need to find a way around that pesky 'corrupt' problem.
I think Psycrows discord channel is getting to work on this, I saw that Icay was able to upload a daytime level with the moon in it
It is better that we don't find a solution to the "corrupted data" message. Would you imagine to find a lot of levels like this in course world? Maybe in an endless challenge? It would be very very awful
Someone said that if you delete the black hole, it doesn't get flagged
I'm sure psycrow will find a way to bypass that
@@simoneb5193 You can already make levels that are 'broken' and 'impossible' to beat in endless with the Vine block/Mushroom platform glitch, and those aren't 'corrupted'. A glitch like this doesn't make that situation any worse. On the contrary, it opens the doors for creative level makers who want to make good levels to make amazing levels with it.

So essentially, the thwomps work as a censor bar that prevents the game from knowing about anything behind it

Glitch finders are fast, *BUT NINTENDO IS QUICKER*
Glitch finders: Remove the thwomps so you can upload the level
thick -> coarse; fast, quick -> swift
I saw the title and never clicked faster.
I found a glitch and here's how to do it:
-This only works in the SMB3 and NSMBU styles
-This glitch works in any theme although I do recommend the Sky theme at night cause then the glitch lasts longer
-It's pretty much only a visual glitch, nothing game breaking unfortunately
1. Go in the maker and give yourself a Dry Bones Shell or Yoshi, Fire Flower and Star
2. Bail out of the Dry Bones Shell by pressing the shoulder button, then press Y
You should be in a sitting pose as if you were in a Dry Bones Shell
If you land on the ground the glitch will end
You can still do the glitch over and over again as long as you have enough stars

Ah hah, the images of a black hole is fake, it’s actually a load of thwomps in a very close space.
It only took 2 weeks for this glitch to be found again

the glitches found in LBP for example are absolutely ridiculous, mainly because of their ridiculously specific setup

@@JamVsJam. you can save a level as long as you delete all of the black hole thwomps. i uploaded a level with a sun at night and it worked fine

like putting two 2 by 2 blocks in the opposite direction by connecting them with a flat 1 by 2... it's not illegal building techniques as there are sets that actually use those techniques, however highly unorthodox methods, yes.

Since levels using this cannot be saved, there’s no reason for them to patch it. They probably will anyway, though.

We might be able to get around the course corruption detection somehow, it seems similar to the algorithm that automatically deleted glitched levels in the original, and we got around that one.

the black hole glitch is invincible, nintendo couldn't patch it out of mm1, and in a sequel that went out of its way to eliminate some of the most glitchy interactions of the first, it still remains
But they did put it in a no-upload cage.

It does not work on 3dworld if you do it on a black hole level and you switch it to 3dworld instead of erasing, it crashes lol, icay told me, i tried it on my nintendo switch and boop. Like 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 lol's
@@GomiGames Probably because switching to 3D World activates Reset Rocket.
Actually, it is possible in 3d world but you have to use pipes instead of tracks.
Copy 99 coins in pipes, place 1 Big Koopa Troopa in a pipe (for the biggest black hole) add one more coin in a pipe, move the Koopa out of the pipe, delete the pipe, press undo twice, and you have your black hole in 3d world
This is the one game that I think has the least bugs in it. Impressive, 10/10

It's like a power-up progressive door!
Go in the regular one to get the P-Switch, use the P-Switch door to get the key, and then use the key to beat the level!
I'd build this level but I feel like doing so would get me banned, so I won't take the risk.

@@smolbrendan5978 It won't get you banned because you won't even be able to upload it. You can't save a level that uses the Black Hole because they're corrupted. Even if you could, it would get deleted. That's kinda sad, because some stuff you can do with this glitch is awesome...

I found a way to upload levels with the sun or moon in the wrong day cycle, but thats about it sadly.

How to do in 3.0.1:
Use Any theme except 3d world. Place a track, place a big thwomp on the track, place a claw that removes the thwomp, place hammer Bro, give it a mushroom, press play and then make, undo it 3 times, remove the claw and copy that thwomp 40 times.

You can get really crazy track pieces with this. It's a shame you can't save these levels as the half square and "S" tracks would be super useful
