Hm, I’ve never had that happen before. Had yarn snap from pulling tight, but never come undone. It could be the yarn you used is very slippery (bamboo, silk… other smooth fibers like that) or that the knots weren’t tied tight enough. Hopefully it’ll work again in the future for ya
I think the russian join can be great for wool, but with acrylic/cotton I find this is more secure. The knot can be hidden in less visible spots or in purl stitches. :)

Does it unravel?
Mine has stayed put.
You can also use some fray check to prevent it from fraying. It acts as a glue so it won't show up layer in your work
I’ve never thought of that. Genius.
very wonderful join
I’ll have to give that a try!
THANK YOU SOO MUCHHH

Amazing ❤
I have worked on this and with me it is a hit and miss kinda thing 🤣. Don’t know why I still can’t always get it right.
Es el viejo y conocido nudo pescador.
This could just be me but I did this knot and it came apart with a very light pull even though I followed the instructions to a T 😅

@@TheBlueMouseKnits I was using bamboo, thank you for the suggestion.
Does this work for changing thread in crotchet? Thanks
Yep, it should also work for crochet projects
How can you crochet with a knot?
That is a fisherman’s knot
Mine just came undone 🤦🏼♀️
How about the Russian joint. See TH-cam. Much nices than a knot in your knitting.

A knot in your knitting is NOT nice. It creates weird stitches around the knot There are better ways. Try a nd find the Russian joint on TH-cam.
