Thank You so much! I'm new to this and had no idea of how much to start with.. This wonderful method has saved a project that I've worked very hard on. I appreciate you very much!! 💖💓💖
That’s the boat I’m in!! Congrats on your first project🥰 I’m doing a giant 6 ft macraweave as my sister’s wedding present🤫 and the cords are SO long I’m getting tangled up in them (not literally, they’re doing the tangling without me included lol) - anyway, I’ve decided to cut them to a more manageable length (ie. NOT 48 ft) and then I can add more cord later.
wanted to check in with you and see how your project turned out! I completely understand working on a major project requiring long lengths of cord. I would love to see how yours is coming along. When is/was the wedding?
Hi im new to macrame so when i was creating a keychain the cord was too short and i found your video and its was so easy to follow thank you for your video
You are very welcome! It has saved my projects before as well. Also, welcome to macrame! It is fun and frustrating, but it is a fantastic way to express your artistic skills. Just keep knotting!!!
How does this hold up to the weight of a larger planter, for say filler cords in a spiral on a hanging planter? I know in crochet any knot aside from a stitch will eventually break.
I'm sorry that I can not give you a good answer. It is going to depend on a lot of variables. What mm cord are you using, is it twisted or braided, how heavy is the pot with filling? I've used this method on a small planter and wall hanging, and it has held up on both. Maybe someone else can get us a better answer.
Simpler and clearer than the other video I looked at. Good job. Thanks.
Glad it helped!

Hello, you are very welcome. I thought that if it could help someone, I should share how it was done!
