Hey! It does sound a little different yeah, maybe just the firing order I have used, it works tho. I did what worked, I couldn't find what's the "correct" firing order is, so it was try and error of trying to make engine run best I could and trying to use "common sense" to figure it out. I listened to yours and mine very closely, and like I say, the difference is there, but I wouldn't say it's a completely different sound, they both sound fairly similar to me. I just enjoy making engines in this app.
@@slightlyinsaneraf Yeah its a lot of fun playing with this. I made the firing order based on a typical inline 5 cylinder engine. 1-2-4-5-3. So the rotors are spaced 72 degrees apart on the eccentric shaft.
@@Fizzer99 yeah, i cant remember my firing order but its something like 14352 or something and im pretty sure my rotors are still using 90° spacings but i maybe wrong. Same goes for 6rotor that I made, but I made spacings on that using picture of 39b shaft as reference
@@slightlyinsaneraf idk because people think that a 4 rotor have similar sound to a 4 cyl. engine and a 3 rotor to a 3 cyl. engine and so on and maybe because of that people think a 5 rotor have a similar sound to a 5 cyl. engine or v10
0:31 Sound like a MotoGP Honda RC211V
Hey Nice engine! I just made a 5 rotor too! Sounds a lot different from your's though.

How to make custom engines?
Sounds a bit like an F1 car - one of the old V12 ones!
A little bit :p
@@slightlyinsaneraf It's put project for the Mazda 5 rotor in my FD RX7!!!!!
Sounds really good
what happened to the 6 rotor
Video had no sound 🤣
Weird firing order. Sounds just like 26b
Listen to real life 6 rotor, they all sound like 26Bs heh
Firing order I am trying to figure out how it's supposed to be setup bud
@@slightlyinsaneraf 6 rotor sounds nothing like 26b, those ones I've heard sound like 20b doubled or 2 stroke- kind of inline 6.
I made one with the correct firing order. Check my channel.
3:17
It should sound like a v10
not really, 4 - 5 - 6 and so on rotaries can be compared to V10 or V12... they sound nothing alike tho
Doesn't sound like f1 v10.
I dont really see why you would even think that it would 😅 it's closer to a Inline 15 config than 10

@@701-e7h well, 3rotor can have sorta this 6cylinder sound, but 2 4 5 6 rotors sound nothing alike 😅 but i get your point
@@slightlyinsaneraf there is some guy that does a 5 rotor that sound like a f1 v10 so: th-cam.com/video/CPoJX-gdvwU/w-d-xo.html
Well, mazzei formula is making a 5 rotor and he thinks it's gonna sound like a v10
