You guys killed it! Hitting way bigger stuff than what I am ready for. Great job breaking that mental barrier dude. Just remind yourself you have the skills to do it. Subscribed.
Huck yeah! FWS is sick :D \m/ Are the freeride trails still there or did the city destroy them? I thought I saw something on trailforks about them getting destroyed. I really hope not, this place is one of the sickest riding spots in the Eastern USA. Great DH trails too, and shuttleable! Can't beat it, cheers from Canada eh! :D \m/
I don’t really know the names of any of the trails, none of them are marked at it seems only the OGs really know the names. It’s out in the freeride trails area. If you look around on Trailforks, you’ll see where the freeride hub is.
Sick vid! Just curious what size volume spacer you added to the shock and how much you weigh? I have the same bike and wondering if I could benefit from volume spacer at the shed. I'm about 185 lbs.
@@davidnigh3800 I am now, yeah. At the time of this video it was a Super Deluxe though. Both shocks I had filled to maximum with volume spacers though.
I know the one with the wooden drop is Upper Canaan. On Trailforks, you'll find all these in the "push trail/freeride area" section. There's a point in the video at a rock drop where I do show a topographic map view so you know exactly where that drop is.
I’m not really sure, I haven’t been to this area in a while. From what I gathered, there’s government people trying to shut this area down but I’m not sure how well that’s going for them. The people that ride this area aren’t taking too kindly to that.
I'm all over the push/freeride trail area in this video. I didn't know which trail is which, except for finding out that the wooden plank drop is part of Upper Canaan. Everything else is a mystery to me, and we just explored to find everything.
@@georgesteinhagen8147 We parked at the bottom of the hill where most of these trails let out, that way we can just cruise down to the truck at the end of the day instead of pedal back to the top again.
Great footage, some rad looking features at the Watershed. High on my list on new places to ride!
Easily my favorite place to go ride bikes!

Hell yeah, thanks my man!
these are some seriously dangerous features. i'd love to try them but i don't want to lose my job if i get hurt here.
Awesome riding - that stuff is no joke 🤘
Nice ripping guys! Studied this vid before I went up.
It's easy to get lost out in the freeride area! Luckily though, there's tons of features on pretty much every path.

I haven’t ridden here in over a year unfortunately, so I don’t know their current condition. Sorry about that, I hope they still exist.
Im new to the Shed. That being said you guys are crushing it! What trails are you on?

I weigh 185 too and I had that shock maxed out with spacers, I believe 3 or 4 was the max allowed.
@@kylebiemiller4313 you're using the float x2 right?

Have a Strava link to these trails? I might be heading out there next week. If no Strava link do you know the names of these trails?

Are these trails still open?

Where is this
Frederick, Maryland, in the Watershed.
Which trail are you on? Fun place to ride!

What are the trail names for freeride here
Other than Upper Canaan, I don't know what any of these trail names are. They might not even have names honestly.
No gloves!?
I like it raw.
