  • After checking into Komune Living in Bangsar, we decided to walk around the area to look for the quintessential Malaysian breakfast food during our first morning in Kuala Lumpur. We eventually found Ali, Muthu and Ah Hock restaurant which did not disappoint.

What do you mean by being ungrateful? what's your definition of being ungrateful? I hope this comment isn't directed against any particular ethnic group or race. Please refrain from using such words, it sounds like a backhanded compliment.

@@ctsara2284 Yes, exactly. I really don't get it when he said "become ungrateful." Which person or individual or ethnicity does he referred to?!
Malaysians are mostly okay. But I guess... Malaysians in the world today, should CHANGE THE WAY THEY SPEAK with each other. I mean... TALK & BEHAVE POLITELY!
I found out, mostly it's quite RUDE -especially when they use "the wrong Sentences & Words" to fit the lines especially in teaching the Foreigners our Bahasa Malaysia language. When I see the situation, I just really can't stand it... 😡 Our Malaysian image became worse & horrible, you see... when some Foreigners from other countries told among themselves, that Malaysians are rude & bad manners. So please, please okay... change it... for the sake of Society!
We all love MALAYSIA. ❤ We will have our Independence Day soon.
DON'T BE RUDE & DON'T HUMILIATE PEOPLE with your wrong & unfair judgements... when you clearly wanted to have some fun at the same time.

Everything is there - only difference is that they have ice-cream. Plus, don't forget to bring your own reusable bags - you will be charged everytime. I think Rachel shud try the other sotong. The fresh, regular white squid, not the one fed to her which is "Sotong Rendam" as we call it here. Sotong rendam is tasteless & more rubbery in texture.
The regular white squid on the other hand is sweeter n softer AS LONG AS theyre not frozen, and overcooked. Most restaurants, hotels and supermarket will opt for the frozen one coz they're cheap and manageable. The result is far below the fresh one- tasteless, rubbery dont deserve a penny spent on.

I might be wrong but i think they use sotong kering for the sambal sotong with nasi lemak.Yes Im with Rachel on the texture...a bit of a turn off.
Sambal sotong made with fresh sotong is a lot better.Give it a try.
