I know it is a late comment, but if you have around 40” of line per crank and a reeling cadence of about 4 cranks per second, you can touch about 8mph. But that is a crazy fast cadence for a reel that requires a TON of torque on such a high speed reel.

Hey guys...I have been on a charter in 4-6 fters...and their 12" inline planers took the waves just fine...they all use yellowbird...I love em too
The releases are pretty nice too...the rear don't pop off...and the front pops off so you fight the fish...not fight the board

According to the Fat AZ musky pod cast the test Gear man did, the fastes he was able to burn a Bucktail (DC10) was around 5-6 Mph
