There are tons of court cases nowadays about songs copying from other songs, and at almost ALL of the trials, Bach is used to show that the thing the prosecutor is claiming is their own is in fact not. That should give you an even greater idea of what how much he wrote (source: Adam Neely)

Did you upload this piece before by chance? I remember hearing the 3rd movement with similar organ tone, but at a slower speed, I used to love that performance but can't find it again
Is there a backup page or channel in another place? I would not like to see one day that the channel was deleted for some arbitrary reason from TH-cam and not know more about you
You are correct sir. When all the composers are in their "Composers Room" up in heaven, and Bach walks in, they all stand and take off their hats. And not just because of his apparent limitless skill, but because he said it all, before all others said anything.
@@GabrielSouza-tb9rl The great Beethoven bows before the limitless ocean of Bach. And LVB didn't even know Bach's greatest works when he concluded 'nicht Bach, aber Meer"
The theme of Movement IV is very similar to the third movement of Brandenburg concerto No. 3, particularly in the second half. Very intriguing. For reference: th-cam.com/video/oyDWtvCd9Xo/w-d-xo.html
I must say, the attack on this organ sounds incredibly satisfying. Sounds as if the pipes have been voiced with open toes. Probably have been, can't complain.
I assume the instrument used was an organ right? Love the timbre and harmonics of the instrument. Even though the lines are like less than an octave apart on some parts you can feel the independence of each voice and how they complement each other. Wonderful piece, honestly
I remember listening to this piece performed on the harpsichord by none other than Karl Richter. It does have a rather simple base, mostly pedal points, really, so I guess it works equally well on the harpsichord. Yikes, the soprano line of the third movement is OVERWHELMING and GROSSLY OUT OF PROPORTION. An awful choice of color, IMHO.
The fact that there's still music to post after years shows just how much he wrote
Gerubach uploaded 248 videos, There are precisely 1,128 pieces of Bach music preserved today.
@@NoskYTB Some videos cover multiple pieces, but there is still much to be covered.
New Bach single just dropped!!
So true

I have heard this piece in years, especially the Richter version. Watching this upload reminds me of the joy for discovering the same piece years ago.
wünderschöne Musik Bach. du bist der beste
Thank you for everything you do!
The third movement is so beautiful and sad at the same time.
Bravo bravo bravo fantastic brilliance genial music
Totally beautiful, and superb organ registration!
Muito lindo. Acalma e concentra
5:50 I am sure that this melody is taken from the aria of the third suite.
I love the effort you put into these videos gerubach. Keep it up

Part 3 of this work is my favorite. But in my opinion the organ register for this part was chosen or written unsuccessfully.
I was thinking the same thing! The soprano line is OVERWHELMING!
beautiful!
I first heard this as a teen in the late 60s on Karl Richter's incredible cembalo recording on DGG
Good sir, will you consider doing any Telemann in the future? Best regards for you and thank you for this goodness!
i really wanna be an organist! i even learned organ pieces on guitar cause i love the organ!
Excellent, Gerubach!
When Lupin III: Castle Of Cagliostro used this piece in the Wedding scene I knew I was not mistaken. Movement III of Pastorale

It might sound cool on a Pedal Harpsichord too.
How would you sustain the long notes? Pedal trill?
😊💕❤
Haven't heard this one yet
why the second movement is similar to classicism to me ?
and the third movement is to similar to the air of the suite for orchestra in D major.
@@martin_A.miranda Second movement is like BWV 828 - 4.Aria, and third is also similar to BWV 974 - 2.Adagio.

How can we edit our music score like that?
