Recently my TVS Apache RTR 200 4V got new rear tyre and after that I faced issue with my drive chain. Chain slack and alignment of axle is controlled by chain clamp adjuster and adjustment screw. Misaligned axle can damage the chain and shortened the chain sprocket life.

I faced the same issue when i changed my rear tyre from TVS to MRF(easyride) one.
I got this replacement work done on the MRF showroom itself.
Just after leaving the showroom, i noticed some lose-part sound from rear part of my bike and inspect immediately.

I feel that my RTR leans towards the right or the handle is out of its natural position. While riding I feel that the the handlebar is heavier on the right side. What could be the problem? The service centre people are unable to diagnose it. Please help. Thank you.

Hi brother I have an FZS V2 The problem is while driving there is no chain noise(only while acceleration) ,but when I not giving acceleration the chain makes noise ! And if i hold my clutch the sound is off ! What is the solution please help

you don't need a spring washer there, a regular one will do. since its an exposed part, i will even recommend that you can make one in good grade SS in your friendly neighborhood machine shop/lathe to avoid rusting and corrosion. KTM OE ones are ss adjusters.

Spring washers are designed to provide tension after tightening that helps to keep such unsprung parts in position for such vibrating environment.

@@thesportztourer Not true buddy. I am auto technician and split washers have been experimentally proven to be ineffective locking devices and can even aid self-loosening over time. I recommend you google " Gerhard Junker" who published some of his lab experiments about the ineffectiveness of split ring washers from yesteryears. Just use a nyloc nut instead and you also get them in SS.
@@thesportztourer wrong, it's actually the opposite at times. Spring washer can aid loosening and do more harm.
Will it really make such impact? Cuz as we tighten the axial nut what kind of support will this provide us?

The Mode and Set button on Meter console are damaged due to heat and water is going into the meter... I've tapped the buttons and I'm unable to find this exact part on service centre. I want to know that these buttons can be accessed or I've to purchase a new Meter for this little thing.

Chain adjustment bolts rust and get stuck - a little anti-sieze is a good thing here. If you're loosing screws, try a little blue threadlock :) - Nice video.
There was 5mm difference in my rear axle alignment it was sliding a lot, then I set it right myself, now it feels stable

Damn it!!!! bro. It happened to me, the service guy didn't tighten up the same nut and by the end of my ride to home wheel misalignment happened and i drove almost 5 km with the same my bad. Now I am experiencing kit kit noise in my bike even after realignment. Should i replace my sprocket sets and chain?. I also find my gear shifting is hard. Pls advise.

Rtr chain adjstmnt: very good initiative. It cannot be said as underratd channel; at d most an under subscribed channel. In absence of detels as to when dis channel started, it s too early to say anything now. If d content, variety n presentation s good, certainly channel vl grow. Plz keep bringing such videos both on bikes n scooters.

Bro in my bike Apache 160 4v Bs6 problem is not stable idle rpm in my bike. So i taken to tvs service center they update or flash the ecu . After this process the bike idle rpm problem is cleared. But the major problem appears now only the GTT technology is working in all gears . When i rode bike in 50 to 60 kmph suddenly i apply brake cames to 30 kmph suddenly the bike automatically gives accelerating i can't control speed before clutch press. Even i cut down gear its maintain some speed in bike in all gears. Sometimes its irritating to rode bike in street's if this problem exists in bike the clutch plate life is totally damage. The tvs technician has no knowledge about these Electronics. Is these kind of problem appears in all having Apache 160 4v or some few having these problem. Anyone know how to turn off this feature.

Bhai meri rtr me bohot noise arahi hai engine ki side se like tik tik tik in idle mode or riding i thought tappet must be loosen but mechanic said timing chain , tappet problem or might be camshaft issue 😭
