Check out your video, it inspired me to clean my front sprocket to try to figure out where all my noise was from. There was layers and layers of caked on wax gunk! Great video! Thanks!
Helpful! I got my Pulsar 150 serviced recently and I still have the chain noise (clunking) upon hitting bumps etc. The service center say that they have tightented to the max and if the noise persists; chain sprocket kit to be replaced. Is it what they say? Need your view.

I do same thing with diesel sprayed on chain and sprokets and after 30 min washes with karcher pressure washer (washing with water @120 bar pressure )

I had an issue with my duke 250 at 13k on my odo, after replacing my chain sprocket it started making a zoom sound at high speeds say after 80, after showing at few different mechanic shops including ktm showroom they were just covering up for that moment, am still unable rectify it can u help me??

The additives in diesel destroy some o ring chains. Use pure kerosene only on those. WD 40 is also good. When checking for freeplay check in several spots by rotating the wheel. Set at the tightest place found. Good video.
I interchange the bolt of front sprocket cover will it be a issue?

Sir my Apache rtr 200 is making chain making noise any solution ??? Is this noise coming because of non o ring chain
I think in my case I'm using Yamaha fzs 2.0 and I've already driven 14000 km till now and it sounds to much, I've tried all things like chain tight, lubricant, cleanliness then also it sounds after 1 or 2days. Yamaha service center told me u have to change the whole chain socket along with chain which will costs 2000 rupees. they also told me that you already ride14000 km from the time of purchase with the same chain, so it is recommended to change whole chain every 6kto7k KMS. bro i just want to know how much is it correct to change chain. do u also recommended to change whole chain set after every 6000 to 7000km or Yamaha person only says to buy profits. please reply I'm waiting

the video is great. but there are two concerns in your video.
1. never clean you chain by putting your engine in running condition.
it will lead to fatal accidents.
2. you are spraying the chain lube more than required which results in attracting more dirt.

Totally agree with your 2 points,
I did rectify it in the separate video made for Dominar. I know sometimes I become too generous in showing my love towards bikes & tend to over spray 😁 one good thing about Motul C2 is that it doesn't attracts much dirt/dust as compared to others.

My chain gets tighten at a point...and becomes free when we rotate the wheel. And chain also making cutting noise..! I have lubricated every 500km ,chain slack is also as recommend.

My bike has chain cover in simple we call oil chain and wothout cover dry chain. Can i remove the cover and use like dry chain using chain lubricants? Please reply. Thanks.
Hi Gururaj,
We have tried this on the Karizma ZMR which has a chain cover. Other than weight saving there is no other significant benefits of removing chain cover, infact without chain cover you will need more frequent cleaning and lubrication as your chain will be exposed to additional dirt and dust. Adding to all this having a chain cover during the monsoons is a peace of mind 😊

Cleaning & lubrication interval depends on the type of terrain & environment you are riding. For me I lubricate the chain around every 500-600km & cleaning is done around 1500-2000km.

@@DGCMO it's very dangerous, there have been several accidents because of that. The wheel should be turned manually during maintenance and the engine should always be off.

@@Saxyct yes you are very correct about seven years ago my cousin owned a motorcycle and was cleaning his bike chain while the engine was running obviously to turn the chain and lost his thumb... I understand some people won't believe me but he still has his thumb in a jar with a special liquid to preserve it to this day
