    PLEASE NOTE:
    I made a mistake in not being specific enough when discussing paraneoplastic syndromes and Lambert-Eaton Syndrome. For instance, in the discussion of Lambert-Eaton syndrome, I should have said "the cancer is leading to the production of autoantibodies" instead of "the cancer is producing autoantibodies". Antibodies are produced by the patient's immune system, generally against components of the cancer, with some antibodies also reactive against other non-cancerous and healthy tissue. I'm very sorry for the confusion.

It’s truly devastating to watch him slowly die a lil more everyday…he was & will always be my hero ♥️ Sending prayers to whoever is going thru having cancer or caring for someone with cancer…my heart goes out to you God Bless ✝️. I have smoked for 47 years. I have been coughing so much in the past year. My CT scan shows my lungs are clear. Either Baylor Scott and White doesn’t want me to be sick due to my insurance, or I’m just crazy. I am no where near crazy. I’m so tired every day and I’m prescribed 60 mgs of Adderall a day. I’m 62, almost 63. Do they really think I take 60 mgs a day? My cardiologist just did a work up, very thorough too and just found my cholesterol is too high. I have 2 inhalers and a can of oxygen I purchased for myself because I can hardly breathe. I’m meeting with my primary care doctor next week. I’m hoping to get more testing.

      Ask your doctor about potentially taking n-acetyl-cysteine or NAC for short. It has many benefits for the lungs and can be purchased for cheap. But ask your dr. In case you have any contraindications for taking it. It’s not a prescription. It’s also good for the liver and a brain nootropic. But can’t stress enough if your dr. Knows your medical Hx well ask them if they’d recommend you try it.

      Say littlequeen time to watch more utube videos of your symptoms and even take notes. And don't forget to google for more ideas. I say this because you can discover answers to some things that will alleviate some of your anxiety and help you to understand yourself better. Knowledge is power! Otherwise you are becoming the self fulfilling prophecy of your doctors, who will always look at the worse side of things, and of your own fears, which is no way to live.

      @@Midger24 Good idea. And while she is at it, there are other supplements to try for the lungs also, as well as deep breathing routines which can really improve ones oxygen intake. For example, improving the exhale is more important than the inhale.

      Well you said you had a good workup with the cardiologist, was gonna say if lungs are good, usually it's indicative of heart failure. You could certainly try the carnivore diet for a month then add food back in slowly, see if you're having an autoimmune reaction. Makes a huge difference for some. Gl!

    How bad is it to be around large amounts of cat urine and cleaning products after having a tumour removed from my lung? My daughter moved back home with her 2 cats who pee all over my house. They have ruined nearly everything i own. She refuses to clean up after them. I have put up with this for nearly a year now because she went through a terrible breakup and her cats were her life line. She refused to even clean before i got home from the hospital and i had to stay in my bedroom most of the time because i felt like i could not breath. She and i have had a rocky relationship already so just geting rid of her cats is not an option. But nearly a year later and she has a new guy whos place she is at 90% of the time leaving her cats alone with me. She will come home to make sure they have food and gone again. Im starting to feel like she doesn't care about my health at all, or me for that matter. Im also concerned for some time now she may have bpd. I can't explain her behaviors any other way. Anyway i just wanted some proof that this maybe causing me harm, because im just so darn exhausted all the time and i cant get my own stuff done let alone look after her cats or her own messes.

      I’m so sorry to hear that your daughter does not respect your health and wellness. I can tell you as a registered veterinary nurse that urine plus many cleaning products like bleach or ammonia based products creates toxic gases that can cause respiratory issues. I would switch to a cleaner that is specific to getting ride of urine. There are several enzymatic cleaners that are safe for pets and discourages remarking areas. If her cats are not spayed/neutered I would ask her to get them fixed immediately to avoid them marking. Also If they are sharing a single litter box, I would add another so they are more willing to use the litter boxes.
      As a mother myself, my best advice for you if she chooses to continue to disrespect your home by neglecting her cats, and ignoring your health and wellness, is to evict her and her cats. You have to set boundaries or she will continue to take advantage of you. Just because you are her mother, you are not obligated to put up with her blatant disregard and disrespect for your health and home.
      My parents had to evict my youngest sister a few years ago for also disrespecting them and their home. She was annoyed for a short while but eventually got over it. You have to prioritize your sanity and health first.

      It's said that marijuana is supposed to fight cancer. So I'm confused about this statement?

    • @ronaldgerbe4851
      @ronaldgerbe4851 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@markmoye9453 Dear Mr Moye ,
      There is not a single instance about which I am aware that marijuana has been shown to “fight cancer “… certainly Not pulmonary cancers and even if a given patient is suffering from pulmonary cancer Caused by prolonged exposure to marijuana , the use of marijuana is a bad idea because it has been intimately linked to a 6 Fold !!increase in the incidence of COPD ! Since patients with incurable small cell lung cancer secondary to smoking MJ are universally suffering from diminished pulmonary function, smoking MJ and the genesis of COPD would essentially be “ adding insult to injury “!
      Perhaps you have read that marijuana can decrease nausea secondary to chemotherapy medications used to treat cancers and certainly may diminish anxiety associated with a patient receiving an ultimately terminal cancer diagnosis .
      However , in these instances utilizing MJ in an analogous manner to “ drinking a ‘bite of the dog” in the AM after a night of excessive drinking to ward off a hang over is not a good course of action….given multiple safe alternatives .
      There are many many well studied , approved , prescribed medications .. without any potential risks for cancer or risks of further compromising lung function , that are Vastly superior to MJ when treating nausea and:or anxiety .
      Sincerely hope that clarifies/ answers your question.
