Went there 2 weeks earlier. Waves were much smaller and around 20-30 feet maximum. Not that big despite bad weather with cloud and rain. Did not see any swelled up waves. Missed them. Really wanted to see those.
... this is dope to watch but I think I'm gonna stick to poking around in tide pools and seeing what cool sh*t I can find. That's a little more my-speed for an ocean experience, maybe some boogie boarding that gets particularly WiLd when I flip off the damn thing😭

Voice of dissent but why do all photos and videos of Nazaré seem to be long telephoto, usually with the lighthouse dominating the foreground? I still cannot find a photo from the beach with the beach actually in it, something shot in 50mm or 35mm, even a wide angle to get more scale into the shot. Going to have to go see for myself!

Getting towed in with a JetSki is the same thing is getting to the top of Mount Everest with the help of a helicopter. this is a really dumb kind of surfing. Using gasoline to catch a wave.
Mmm I don’t think the same… the biggest risk about surfing this waves is surfing down the line.. trying not to get catch.. there is LOT of risk, your life is is risk. On the other hand it’s imposible to surf this waves paddling. To go down the line the board has to be heavy, if not the waves are so big that they push you up and also have to be small to be easy to turn and follow the good line, one of the biggest risks is making a line to straight and loosing speed.
@@snapperboat25 yeah just gobble up tons of gasoline and petroleum hydrocarbons everywhere you go in order to do your thing. Just kind of sad that surfing has become a global warming sport. 😢
Dear Tomi: saying the drop is the same over and over again only reveals who has never surf in his life.. If u want to know if they know how to surf i recommend you to get a board and try to surf a 1ft wave for more than 2 seconds.. i think that will answer lot of your questions :) Cheers mate!
