As a non-surfer, this is just mind altering to watch! Nazare looks like a huge cauldron of liquid madness and this footage is just incredible! 👍🏼
I drove to Nazare from the UK and its more insane than any video shows. Watching a wall of water fall in slow motion is something I will never forget.

Used to listen to this when I was 15 with all my friends. It was the start of an incredible music journey that took us through Love, the Seeds, strawberry AC, Iron Butterfly….you get the picture. Well, I’m 54 now. Good memories. Hope you don’t get the ol’ CP strike etc.
The perspective in these shots really emphasizes how beautiful and yet terrifying those waves are.

Not watched surfing videos in a while and first time I’ve see drone photography used and it is a real visual treat which really makes it all so immersive in a whole new way. Props to the amazing pilots scoring this footage, the surfers delivering the goods and the guardian angels on the jet skis keeping them safe 🤙

I remember being somewhat traumatized by surfing footage from the early nineties. Relentless tightly cropped clips of tow-headed Santa Barbara kids knitting on head-high shore break. Wow, is this footage lightyears from those days! What a spectacular edit, well done!
