Felt like it wasn't even a "battle." They were very calm and complimented each other from time to time; plus I love the fact that they were also learning from each other (preferences, techniques, experiences, etc.). So happy watching this episode! Expecting more cooking videos with Ninong Ry ❤️
They've just showed us a collab of two different people in the same field without sapawan, lamangan and no marks of trying hard personalities likewise, they've brought us good show with their trademarks! Erwan Heussaff has his French touch with white dry wine. Both cooks are great and have different styles. I would Devore both of their dishes except I am too far in Europe now. Fun , simple cooking with fresh ingredients. Miss the philippines and its diversity .

I was rooting for Ninong Ry because he always brings that "homecook" vibes wherever he goes nothing fancy just very simple.
I think ninongs presentation during the challenge is more high end
But we can definitely see that his skills are far better than Erwan. He just doesn't go that fine dining route.
Yeah, it's true to its roots. Besides, Sutukil don't have to look sophisticated anyway.
I bet Erwan is just the quiet type but that doesn't mean his skills are underrated..he has gone to many countries already and has explored varieties of food and how to prepare them..he even asks the chefs how to cook/prepare them

Never a fan of cooking show but Erwan and Ninong Ry in one frame is very interesting to watch. I love the dynamics, their character differences, their different styles, I also love how these two dominated the cooking leauge in TH-cam and Facebook respectively then collaborated for a show. Ninong Ry's cooking is for Filipino palate contrary to Erwan's hybrid/fusion cooking. When I was in Europe, I try to incorporate Filipino cooking to their ingredients. It's always a winner. Like when I cooked escabeche in Normandie, France. Keep up the good work, you guys! 🎉
