I love kits that can give the finger! Even the exia sorta can of you cut the fingers apart. Sadly the same can't be said for the Fenice.

Exia Dark Matter is one of my all time favorite MG kits. Loved building mine and it just looks so awesome.

I definitely agree with your top pick. I love my RX-78-2 Origin! It might not look like much, but when you get it posed it just blows your mind how something that boxy can pull of a wide range of poses.

It's too bad this past year (2015), MG releases have been so few & far between again like the past few years.
You should be including Premium Bandai as well.
06. Exia Dark Matter
- Good choice.
- Perhaps we will see a Trans Am release along with a Trams Am ver. for the MG Exia Amazing
- Yea this base kit (the MG Exia) has its issues, but you can easily fix the loose issues easily with clear coat to tighten things or simply propping it up on an Action Base.
05. Fenice Rinascita
- You did not botch the name. It was actually spot on I think.
- This guy's base model (Wing TV) was good so this guy is stable.
- I still find it weird that a lot of the MG Wing based releases have issues holding weapons. I mean the Proto Zero EW I think is the one that has the least/no issues. Hopefully we get a 2.0 for Wing EW and Wing Zero EW soon since my Wing series collection does not have either of them since I refuse to buy the ones we have now since they're quite not up to modern MG standards.
- Oh and no MG Wing Fenice still? I suspect Premium Bandai.
- The included display base is really nice. Hopefully we get those sold separately later since they are an improvement over Action Base 1.
04. Double X
- Not surprised it's relatively high on this list.
- This is good I think. There are no major issues and it was nice to see Gundam X finally getting some love after the MG X came out a while ago.
- Now where's my MG X Divider, Bandai?! >_< Even if it's Premium Bandai (which I suspect it will be), I'll be buying it to complete the trio.
03. Amazing Red Warrior
- This is actually the only RX-78-2 based GunPla that I own. I just had to since Build Fighters is quite a fun show.
- Now we just need a few more MGs from Meijin's lineup of Gunpla (Zaku Amazing, Kampfer Amazing, Exia Amazing Trans Am, Exia Dark Matter Trans Am)
02. Hyaku Shiki 2.0
- Not surprised.
- Not a fan of UC.
- But this guy is a huge improvement over the original MG which was definitely due for an overhaul.
- I like this new gold color on the armor. Perhaps they can do it for a MG Akatsuki (Oowashi & Shiranui) later on? Hint hint Bandai..heh.
01. The RX-78-02 [Origins]
- This guy looks great.
- Not a fan of UC.
- But this is a great addition to the MG line up.
- It has enough changes to make a classic Gundam look more modernized.
- I guess for fans of this guy, you should own this Origins ver. and the 3.0 version.
- I think Bandai is going to do a MG Zaku 2 Char ver 3.0 and then do an Origins ver.
Oh and weird how this was a Top 6 list.
Usually people do these lists in 5s (top 5, top 10...)
But I suppose I can't blame you since 2015 didn't really have much to choose from.

Literally those 6 (plus the MG Victory 2) were the only ones we got retail.
Concerning that the MG line is so few and far between now, and instead we're getting bombarded with Premium Bandai releases.
Do you think that the MG DM Exia would be a good kit to get if I put it on an action base so the joints don't have to hold as much weight? I really like the design of the suit, and the HG just doesn't compare to how many accessories the MG has. Do you think it's a worthy purchase if I bought it with an action base?

I've got the Hyaku Shiki and Double X! Just picked up the Rx-78 3.0 but after seeing your number one I might have to go back and get the origin ver. lol
Both kits are great for 2 different reasons. The 3.0 looks spectacular, but nothing pulls off poses like the origin
