I’ve been in tinting business since 2016 and found that Perfection is never achievable but I try my best to minimise the dirt. I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and found very helpful and I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you 😊
I just started practicing and I've noticed that almost all my windows have some sort of contamination. thank you for the video! hopefully I can figure out what I am doing wrong next time I do tint!
I took my car to a professional shop but it appears that the owner/most experienced tinter works on the more expensive cars, and their least experienced staff work on the less expensive cars. Tint job on my Mondeo wasn't perfect, but at least they're offering to fix it! I just hope that this time, it'll be done right. Sometimes I'm hesitant to take my car back to the same place if I'm not completely satisfied with their work, because they might make the same mistake again, or worse.
So i have a G37 Convertible (2011), and got my windows tinted two days ago by a professional. Checked the rear window the next day to make sure water that was pooled up under the tint dried up. There was a hair that caused a tiny wrinkle. Went back to him to fix it, and when he removed the tint he removed my defogger. Turns out my rear windshield is part of the retractable top assembly and is sold as a whole piece, so this shop will likely have to file an insurance claim. Crappy situation, as if it was done correctly the first time it could have been avoided.
Nice video. Your experience shines here. I had my windows tinted 8 days ago at a professional shop. I also had a brow or sun strip across the top of my windshield done and from the time I left the shop the patch of bubbles on the brow have drastically reduced and I haven't said anything because they said any bubbles will go away with time. My question is do you think these two appear to now be single contamination bubbles as you described will go away since it has been 8 days in sunlight, or should I have them fix it? I hate to be that guy but on a brand new black car with a 5% brow it really stands out.
When I use to work at grocery stores they would had us clean windows with vinegar in order to clean the contamination apperantly it helps alot than just soap and water alone and eventually we would finish it of with soap and water could the same concept be applied in this case in order to prep the glass?

Hey bro got a question, gor installed a ting about a week ago, looked good at install but its been way below freezinf with no sun, and theres some bubbling on my glass, some lookslike hard water spot, some just like bubbling between heating lines of rear glass, and even one what looks like line that I can feel. I assume that itll go away when weather get warm and sunny, what you think?
No matter what I do I cannot keep debris out of my windows I have an AC unit blowing directly on top of the car whenever I'm peeling and a small area I keep making it known that the AC is the problem but they will not listen to me
@@evananthonybaez I got training from expel! They figured out it was a problem with the water. We now use distilled water and have very little problems
Quick Question: Would you recommend wearing gloves during install to prevent contamination with your fingers or should you just spray your fingers before applying every window?
For this demonstration, we micro-edged the top glass so it meant you could carefully pinch the top side as we were cutting it off with the micro-edged finish. You can spray your fingers it will help. Or install with the “no touch method” but as-long as you are just pinching, the worse case scenario will be 1-2 specs. This particular Audi is quite hard to install so holding the film just meant there would be less chance for any errors

quick question so i currently have 15% on the front and what i wanna do is put a 5% over the dry 15% will that be able to apply good ? or would i need to redo and take off the 15% and put the 5% and 15% together ?
@@TintSchoolOnline in day time it’ll be alright but ill probably have to put my windows down at night but that’s what i want that completely blacked out look !
"So at first these specs are going to be surrounded with soapy water which makes the specs very hard to see, but as the water dries out though, these specs will become visible" Then it shows me pushing the area a few times to remove as much water as possible REVEALING the specs as I talked about please watch the video again, the whole video talks about specs being contamination and the main reasons of where they come from? Not specs having anything to do with pushing too hard. Tinting is hard, so if this video confused you, honestly I would recommend taking it to a professional
The shop that did my Tesla has a huge HEPA filtration system and they use a plotter/cutter for the tint. Manually cutting tint is never going to be perfect.
A plotter cuts a template made from someone’s hand cut. Plotters are amazing though! Many people who use them leave little gaps around the roll down windows though as it’s so quick and easy.

Just started tinting super helpful !!!!
I seen one company mask tape everywhere around window. especially the outside window squeegee n the inside one is taped. all trim molding is taped.
Depending on car there no need to mask take any car unless it has felt
is it ok if the water rolls down in the door? there are electrical wires there right?
There's a plastic shield w adhesive around the electrical in the car doors so no risk

Can I see Tint School in Portuguese (Brazil)?
Is it normal do have bubbles after ceramic tinting? My tinter told its normal and will disppear in few days?
Water bubbles are normal, as long as they are see-through.
If they are white big bubbles , it will not dry

You cut top edge after applying film? Why?
It’s a microedge finish. Doesn’t leave a gap
Specially in the windshield sir, there's a random contamination.
I see the bubbles inside but not the outside I took my truck to get it tinted I think one of my brothers opened the window
My shxt is vice versa 😂 lmao wtf
I have tried downloading the free 240 page manual a few times, but keep getting an error saying unable to connect

Ac has nothing to do with installation of the window film .... it's on how you handing you film and installing the film ... noting with ac

Looks so easy but it is extremely hard. Tried it 2 times and way too many mistakes
I’ve been doing this for about 16 years now. You can’t do a car without some contamination. It’s impossible.
There is much room for error, my friends.
