This has brought back memories. My late brother Kwesi Hanson who was engineering consultant at the Management and Productivity Institute at the time. We went to Methodist church at the chapel Square. The pastor asked everyone to close his/her eyes for prayers. My brother refused and after the prayers, I asked him why he did not close his eyes. He told me that,that is what the Europeans did to our ancestors and when they opened their eyes, they were in the ship as slaves. The last time I saw him was 35 years ago,when I was living Ghana to America to further my education. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
They brought a culture that is not ours and that's when we lost ... but now we are getting it back
