In terms of leisurely driving the bike, this was definitely one of the best experiences so far. Elmina is a picturesque little town. You did a great job all the way through of telling us what you saw. From 15:00 onwards, the music part was like a low flight on a paradise runway. Great experience, thank you.

That road was built in the 1970’s by a reputable German Company called CP growing up . I can’t agree with you more - it’s one of the best on the entire continent of Africa.

Ludo I grew up at where you said you would like a little house and chicken . There are some estates on the right hand side - the area is called OLA. You definitely purchase a land in that area .

Im from Accra but, went to one of the very prestigious secondary schools in Central region, Saltpond, so i know those areas quite well. I love Cape Coast/ Elmina. I always wanted to live there, but rather ended up in crazy New York City, for some crazy reason. Thank you for the memories, im crying. 😢😢😊

The Ghanaian coast is very different from Nigerias and bight of Biafra. There is an anomaly caused by the geography which ensures that the Ghana coast is drier Savannah grassland with less rainfall than the coasts of Nigeria and Ivory coast which benefit from wetter tropical weather. It is why the white man 0referred t9 make Gold Coast their point of no return cos they could easily build castles on the dry coast then the swampy rainforest coast that protected Nigeria from any serious invasion until 1900. Most slaves were actually transported by shallow boats or overland from what is present day Nigeria t9 the Gold Coast for shipment to north America and Caribbean. The Nigeria coast was too shallow for ships to dock due to the large volume of silt pumped into the Atlantic ocean by the river Niger and its delta trinutaries. It is impossible to build such roads in Nigerias cost because it’s very different and is made op of islands and delta tributaries

What are you talking about? Cape Coast, Elmina, and most of Ghana's, and all of Ivory Coast's costs are in the rain forest. Don't give yourselves excuses for poor coastal dev in your country. No slaves were transported to Ghana from Nigeria to be transshipped. There were taken by canoes to ships anchored far from the coast. The castles predate the slave trade. Elmina castle, the first European in Asia, the Americas, and SS Africa was built 150 yrs before the slave trade. They were build for trading in gold and defense. Learn a little geography and history before you make statements.
@@frankbediako1372 it’s funny how unnecessarily condescending you are when clearly you’re the one who doesn’t know your geography. it’s a documented fact that the cape coast has a tropical savannah climate due to the dahomey gap, look it up. & saying that building roads on the niger delta has its difficulties isn’t an excuse, it’s literally an area full of maze like waterways, soggy soil and mangrove forests. our coastal areas away from the delta are a lot more developed, lagos for instance has far more development than any coastal area ghana possesses

This highway your on reminds me very much of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Eleuthera is a long skinny island with a highway running right through the centre of it north to south. It also has many Cottages along the way. It's paradise.

A bit disappointed with Elmina in terms of infrastructure. The is one the driest coastal areas of tropical subsaharan Africa and could have benefitted from investment to improve its tourist potential which coyle be massive given the breathtaking coastline. But West African countries do not invest in tourism generally, so apart from Ivory Coast Gambia and Ghana very little tourist infrastructure exists,. But this could be a major money earner

when I shot this video the new harbour was still under construction

A bit disappointed with Elmina in terms of infrastructure. The is one the driest coastal areas of tropical subsaharan Africa and could have benefitted from investment to improve its tourist potential which coyle be massive given the breathtaking coastline. But West African countries do not invest in tourism generally, so apart from Ivory Coast Gambia and Ghana very little tourist infrastructure exists,. But this could be a major money earner

yes I agree on that, i did around 50 to 80 videos, without any commentary, and people kept asking to see me and hearing me, then i came to it, on some episodes, like that one. I also feel it is another experience.
