Blood mist it live again .some lovely fencing there lads .I don't know how you still going Steve with the hip .you was struggling to walk at the end of that one .hope the op eventually comes for you 👍👍👍
Hi Steve and Alex good job as usual, but noticed that smooth side ( good) of the posts was on the customer side but the stone finish and good side of the fence on the neighbours side?
Great work as usual lads. Just a question (because I had a terrible experience when I bought my house) did any issues come up with the *minor* change to the boundary due to the fence being at an angle now ? And that sky cable made me genuinely lol !!! Who did that ????? 😂
Love your videos guys, and always learn so much! I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. 1) Was that hydrated lime you added? And is NHL lime ever used with Portland cement, or only on it's own with sand and water? 2) What size tuck pointer did you use at 9:30 please? I have a 8mm wide one and wondering if I bought the right size. My theory was the bed is 10 mm, so went down a size so tuck pointer would fit in for repair work. Really appreciate your advice!
Not got a clue about the lime I’m afraid . Used of the shelf stuff from a local merchants . We mixed it 6 . 1 .1 Sand , lime cement. Finger pointer 8 mm 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
Hello. I wish you all the best. Why do you in England lay bricks from a trench? Then you fight dampness by sealing the joints between the bricks. Wouldn't it be better to raise the concrete foundation a little higher than the ground by at least 1.1-1.3 feet?
We have been building sub-structure walling and different types of Damp Proof Courses for well over a Century + and it works. So whats the conclusion from that.? "If it aint broke - dont try an fix it."
@@martin2466 I watch a lot of videos of different construction bloggers from England on TH-cam. And I like how you build houses and how you work. Everyone works strictly according to one standard. We build everything differently,
Step away from the circular saw! Come out with your hands up, im saving you from becoming a wood butcher. ( that's what I call chippy's) Intrigued by need of possible new sponsor😮 🧱 👍

The cable was a joke !
No issues as both sides gain as the wall was double the width of the fence 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild Cool. 👍

fit like a glove

That last panel was a bit tight, when it rains and absorbs moisture it will expand and bow out. You should have given it 12mm play to allow expansion.
👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild We like our panels, "Nice `n tight," don`t we.?
😁🤷♂😁😁🔨👍🧱🙄
@martin2466 . Squeaky 😬🥲🧱👍🏽
You should try and get sponsorship from a medical company and get them to fix your hip and show how quickly they can get you back to work in comfort
I wish 😬🧱👍🏽
Why don’t you dampen the wall before repointing?
No need in this one
