This was exactly the instructional video I’ve been looking for. 🙏 Thanks to you I will be able to create the card that’s in my head. 💜🤩

OMG! I have ignored the slice feature for getting rid of parts of cards for so long, but needed it tonight. I use slice for other things, like slicing in hearts into rain boots, for example, but never thought I would need to remove sections of a card. I searched and searched, but couldn't find the right "search words". I didn't give up and finally came across your video. Thank you so much! Now I won't be wasting a lot of paper!

What font did you use for the Love Always? Thanks for another great tutorial.

So, in order to use the Slice feature, you have to hold down the Control button at the same time - is that correct?

Judy Goodson Yes, control or shift key on a PC.

Shouldnt the the love always piece be at the bottom not the top so when folded it would be right

Yes, Ann. You are right. I wasn't planning on welding those pieces together but yes, it should've been at the top. No, I don't have the file for the card as I didn't save it. If I recreate it, I'll be sure to share on my Facebook Group.

Nice card, but I guess you didn't notice that if you cut the final design, the way you made it the lettering will come out upside down. If you weld the rectangle to the top, not the bottom of the cut out design it will come out correctly. I do it slightly different, which is easier for me. After removing the score line from the card, I slice the first rectangle out of the card itself, build the design in the resulting window and then weld everything together. I find this easier because you don't have to try lining up the rectangles, and the design is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get).

luxurycardstore Yes, you are right! Since this example was just going to be a layered card instead of being welded together, I put the square at the bottom, but yes, it should have been welded at the top so that the sentiment part of the card will fold down. Thank you for pointing that out :D

Thank You very nice video. I keep getting that very same error message, glad it's not me and that the folks at Cricut is working on it.

I would have liked to have seen the project actually cut out and completed. Even though it was backwards/upside down.
